If You Like Jack Johnson or Bob Marley

I don't often see a lot of music related topics here (unless we're talking about how we secretly love Ke$ha) and I wanted to share an artist I worked with today with you guys! (if some of you didn't know, I work in the music industry)

His name is Mishka and he's a reggae singer-songwriter. He reminded me of Jack Johnson mixed with Bob Marley, so if you're interested in that sort of chill-out jam-band mellow music, I totally reccommend him. I heard 5 of his songs today, my favorites were "Stars Will Be Shining" and "Talk About".

Sometimes I get really excited when I hear new music or musicians and I want to share with everyone! Would it be okay if I did that every so often?

How can anyone NOT like getting put on to good new music? Course as a musician, I'm ever so slightly biased. But thanks for the intro to Mishka! I'm listening to his MySpace tracks now, and I like the vibe.

Oh, I have Mishka! I totally dig his acoustic album. I downloaded it on New Years Eve about 4am... FI and I were weirdly awake, and waiting for our rental movie to download. So we looked at music to pass the time and came accross the album. We have other stuff of him also, but I really enjoyed the acoustic one for sure.

And yes, cool music recommendations are always cool in my book. I really dislike radio stuff for the most part, I've always liked finding something cool to add to my collection.
