WR Stuff and Whatnot!

I am wearing my hair like so (probably):

And I doubt I will wear a necklace, because that neckline looks great bare. Which is why I'm opting for dangly earrings.

So, here's my new RSVP wording, I think it's better.... what do you think?

Uhh, was that all the questions?

That's perfect, and you will write in the number "allowed" to attend. And as I told Ocean earlier, I love those low knots in hair. Are you going to have  veil and then add the flower later? How is the dyed crinny going? Yes, I will continue to add things to your to do list.

And you know lights switches aren't for light switch raves, right?

I dunno about me writing the number "allowed." That seems kind of.... harsh.

Although I'd LOVE to be harsh. But I won't push the etiquette envelope that far. Listing the names on the envelope will have to suffice. If people bring guests who aren't invited.... well.... I guess Dad will be paying for people I don't know. And that kind of pisses me off, but what more can I do?

And yes, I will have a veil, and either have the flower pinned in underneath or add it after the ceremony.

And I have my crinoline but I am waiting for the weather to warm up to dye it. We'll be doing it in my friend's garage.

Love the new RSVP and the hair idea.  I'm considering a hair flower as well.  I'd really like a magnolia, since those are really prevalent in Savannah (and they smell SO good!)  Will have to talk to the florist to see if we can swing that or if I need to get a fake one.

The RSVP card looks great!  And I agree with you about not writing in the number of guests.  As you said, you indicate who is invited by the way you address the invitation. But if you addressed it to Mr. John Smith and he accepts with 5 guests, there is nothing wrong with telling him that your venue/budget/whatever can not accommodate additional guests.  Sorry John.

Ok, You've all seen the RSVP, now I need you to look at everything else. My etsy chick said I need more pairs of eyes to look at everything, and my mom has seen it, FI doesn't care, I can't get FMIL to respond to anything without being kind of bitchy.... and I don't want everyone else to see everything before they get it.

    So, here we go:

I like how you can totally make a mad lib out of my directions. I thought the blanks were distracting, but it's so fun to be like "noun" "adverb" "person." I should have done that.

I haven't made up my mind on whether to do programs. On the one hand.... does it matter? On the other hand, I think I'd like to have one to keep for myself.

I may be ABSOUTLEY in LOVE with the wording on your STD ( think that's what it is...at the bottom...) LURVES IT!

On another note - it all looks excellent!

    That's my favor tag. Cool

I have loved that quote FOREVER, and it really suits us well.

    Thanks!

Love it Jeana!  Whatever those are at the bottom (favor tags I think you said you were having the girl do?) are awesome.  It was too small for me to tell, and maybe that's why, but it looked like there may be too many letters in the word accommodations at the bottom of the directions card, so maybe check the spelling on that.  Other than that, I didn't see anything!  :-)

Maybe 'cause it's "hotel recommendations" not "accommodations"?

    Wink

We may not book a block of rooms (not sure we'll have enough to do so), so that wording seemed better.

    Thanks for having my back!

We bought our wedding bands today!

I got a 2.5mm plain gold band (classic FTW!), and he got a 3.5mm plain tungsten band.

I thought I'd want to have the same metal for our bands, and I kind of did.... BUT, he is SO HAPPY with the tungsten. He kept putting it on and staring at it today. He just got all giddy and claims he's just "Happy to have another thing done and over with" but I know he just REALLY loves his band.

And that makes me really happy. Smile
