S/O - Sex Ed in Schools

In 8th grade I got the anatomy of males and females. In 9th, abstinence, contraception, STIs, the whole bunch.

Before any of this when I was like about 12 my mom played the movie KIDS and told me if I had sex that would happen. If anyone has seen this movie, you can imagine how traumatizing this was.

I got my period on my 12th birthday and had no idea what it was. I didn't tell me mom or anything, just put a pad on (cause I knew what they were) because I didn't want to ruin my underwear by getting them dirty.
