How was YOUR weekend?

Good morning everyone.  I feel like ass this morning.  Trying to recover from a friend's bachelorette party in Vegas.  I don't drink but late night clubbing, dancing and thunder down has torn me up.  I'm getting too old for this.  I have to admit Thunder Down Under made me a little hot and bothered.  Is it bad that I wanted to sink my teeth into their abs and butt cheeks and latch on?  I don't wear make up and I live in my jeans so getting ready and glamming it up was an a trial and error for me.  I had to shop for a Vegas dress and so here it is:

I had a great time but it made me realize and reaffirmed that I am not made out for clubbing and dancing at least without FI there.  Men are too aggressive and sleazy at the clubs.  I recommend Thunder Down Under to all bachelorettes.  Did a little shopping and got FI some Prada sunglasses for his birthday and here I am  trying to recover in time to pack and leave for the Canary Islands trip this Friday.  I need MORE coffee.

What about you ladies?  How was your weekend?  BTW as you can see I found a way around the block that my work put up for The Knot.  Yay!  I can come visit more often.

My weekend was pretty boring. BF and I were going to make gingerbread houses but the design phase of our project took too long so now we are waiting until next weekend to actually make them.

You look awesome in that picture btw.

Thanks Beth, I love ginger bread houses, sadly they end up looking like an earthquake hit them cause there are missing pieces or corners broken off cause I can't help but nibble on them.  Post pics of yours when your done!

I just have to say that you look HAWT in that picture!

Glad you had such a great time. I spent most of my weekend drinking. Even while doing yard work on Sunday lol I put the "Klass" in Klassy.

Sounds like you and I could be low-maintenance bffs. :)

I got a new fur baby and BF and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary by sleeping in and ordering chinese food. It was a great weekend. :)

I like your gingerbread house! Mine never turn out that great either. My high expectations cannot be met, usually because of my lack of patience and skill. lol.

Pretty much sounds just like what FI and I do on our anniversary.  Perhaps add in some ice cream and a rootbeer float to boot.

Ollie, Klassy is the best kind.  ;)

    DAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG. You look good :D

Weekend was uneventful. Went to a concert on Friday, a belated Halloween party on Saturday and did jack-sh!t on Sunday (except have a nervous breakdown, but hey, it happens).

Also, CBS Sunday Morning did a bio piece on Florence Welch of Florence & The Machine and now I can't stop listening to her album. Her voice is amazing <33

Lyn, I love that dress! I agree on the aggressive guys in Vegas clubs. We had to gang up on a guy who was harassing our married and pregnant friend. I am super jealous that you're going to the Canary Islands.

My weekend was slow. H left on a business trip yesterday, so I took him to the airport. Saturday, he was getting stuff together for his trip. I stopped at the mall on the way home from the airport but didn't buy anything. Then I colored my hair and redid my gel manicure. The second attempt came out better than last week's first attempt.

This color is Harmony Gelish in Samuri. My left hand came out better than the right.

I've been getting UV gel manicures for two years now and I just love it! My nails always look great (except when they chip, which is rare). I just got a fill-in on Wednesday and I've chipped twice already, so I have to go get them fixed, but otherwise - best thing I've ever done for myself!

DAmnnnnnn you are hot!!!  :)   Glad you had fun but I agree clubs are not for me.  I went once and that was enough for me :)
I am sick so my weekend consisted of being sick, booking our venue!(yaya!) and doing homework.  It was thrilling. ;)

Great choice on a Vegas dress, Lyn, you look awesome! I worked at a bar/night club for about a year and hated it. It got to the point where BF had to hang out there when I was working because I felt so uncomfortable. Maybe it was just a sleazy part of town though.

My birthday was on Friday. BF and I took the dog to a dog park and hung around. We went out to eat with our parents that night. Saturday night I had a small party with my friends. I also worked, which is always fun. Yay!!

Also, have fun in the Canary Islands!!!

I'm going to echo everyone in saying you look AMAZNG! My best friend had her 30th birthday party this weekend, which was a surprise party thrown by her H. It was really fun! I was worried about the turnout, but there ended up being a lot of people there and it was a blast!

Sunday, BF and I pretty much stayed in our sweatpants and hung out around the house. It was glorious!!! Minus that one tiff we had about his resume, but really, it was nice to wear a fuzzy sweater, fuzzy sweatpants, fuzzy slippers and putter around all day. Love those down days!

For not getting glammed up much, you sure pulled it off well, Lady!

Friday I surprised BF with some sexy time between his day job and going to the fire house then stayed and made 200 jello shots for a after party at his house the next day and then went out to dinner with a couple of his cousins, the local bar and grill had Yuenling on tap...it's just not available in Cincinnati, not even in the stores for another week or two so it was a high point of the night.

Saturday I had a super awesome hot towel cold stone facial and then made homemade zesty pasta salad and headed to BF's.  His uncle just turned 50 so they planned a roast for him...it was great, he was surprised and the roast jokes were hilarious.  BF and his brother stole the show for sure!  After party was at BF's we partied hard and long...went to bed around 5:30 (6:30 had the time not changed).

Sunday we slept in and then were super lazy.  I made cinnamon rolls, showered and cleaned up a little...we ordered pizza (yes Larosa's, Paint) for dinner.  I got to see the Bengals win and the Steelers lose, which made me a happy girl!  I don't know if any of you follow NFL much, but "experts" ranked the Bengals dead last at the beginning of this season and projected the them only winning 2 games this entire year, they are 6-2 and currently in first place in the AFC!  WHO-DEY, Baby! :)
