Rain, rain, go away...

We had a pretty hefty storm this morning. I went into my living room about a half hour ago, and found water, all over the place. My roof decided to start leaking. Gah! Fabulous, there is a few thousand dollars I don't have to spend on a new roof!

OH no! Sorry to hear about your roof!

I think that same storm just went though my area.

Ugh, that sucks about your roof! Is it an older roof?

Well, when I bought the house 6 years ago, the owner had just replaced part of the roof. The part that could be seen on the street (I know, wonderful people, huh?). So, this is part of the old section. My neighbor told me to submit it to my insurance company, they might cover it.

Hopefully insurance will cover part of it. You were planning on selling your house right? Maybe this will help that?

Ugh, that sucks!  I'm sorry about the water damage Frown

As an aside, though...the prior owners of my house did the same thing!  What is UP with people?

Also, if you wanted to wish that storm down towards Oklahoma City, we'd be super appreciative.  It is hot as blazes and we need rain like nobody's business.
