I just finalized my teaching schedule for this fall, and I am teaching 22 credit hours between 3 universities, 6 days a week! I'm actually going to have to cancel class so that I can get married. LOL! I've lost my mind! How can I teach 8 classes and plan a wedding and write a dissertation?! The good thing? I will be so busy I won't have time to spend any money

You can do it.  Take breaks when you need to.  Take your vitamins.  Schedule down time.  It'll be ok.

You can do it!  And when you do, I will bow at your feet in awe.

If it makes you feel any better, I taught 15 hours and took 9 hours worth of PhD coursework last semester.  I survived (with the help of a very patient BF).

Have you taught any of the courses before?  If so, maybe teach them the exact same way again...same syllabus, exams, and everything?  That might help preserve some of your sanity.

I'm not teaching, but keeps myself insanely over busy just so I don't have time to just sit and worry... let alone go out for some shopping therapy

Yeah, 5 of the classes are the same classes I taught in previous semesters, however they are changing the books (but once you've taught one speech class, they are all the same). The other 3 classes are brand new prep. And, the one I really know zero about, so it'll be a lot of re-teaching myself the theories (I have a general knowledge, but no specialized knowledge in the area).

Oh goodness, good luck with the new ones...3 new preps sounds incredibly stressful.  But you can do it!

Thanks for all the support everyone! I really appreciate it.

I don't have a planning website. FI is very weird about having a website with our names on it. I was thinking about making a website without our names, but I decided it sounded like too much work :)

Me and my friend actually picked out this dress, and everyone else loved it. We are adding a modesty panel to extend the v-neck, so it isn't as plunging. And the price was amazing, $150!

Yeah, I don't know when that will happen. He lives in KY. I live in OH. I've had a bit more flexibility to my schedule, so I was the one doing most of the 6 hour commuting. This fall, he'll be doing most of the commuting. He said he doesn't mind.
