Ever since we started looking at rings (2 months ago) I've always been wondering when it was going to happen. The wait is over, I am engaged!!!! It still feels so surreal and I giggle everytime we call each other fiance Lol. Yay so excited!!!

Thanks ladies I can't do pics atm,  I am at work but I swear it happened lol. We went to our favorite hiking spot and walked up this really steep hill for what seemed like forever until we found this really open spot overlooking all the trees really high up. Then he hugged me for what felt like 10 minutes because he told me later he was so nervous he forgot what he wanted to say lol..next thing you know he's on his knee, saying all the perfect things and asking me to marry him!!!!! We both cried, rolled around in the field kissing and it was amazing and I AM ENGAGED AHHH!!! It was perfect, the ring is perfect, he's perfect and I haven't stopped smiling since..seriously my face hurts lol. I am so glad that he did it surrounded by nature, we both love it and it's what I secretly wanted

Yay!! Congratulations! It sounds kinda similar to my proposal except I had a stream instead of a hilltop view! I think a proposal in the outdoors is a great way to go, but I may be biased, lol! I don't think the "fiance" part of it all has really sunk in for me either yet, lol. And I still smile randomly and look at the ring even though it's been 2 days now, lol.

Was it a surprise or did you have  a feeling it was coming?

To be honest ever since we were looking at rings, I have always thought "omg today is the day!" whenever we went out so I had my suspicions but just like any other day I didn't know it was going to be THAT day so surprise i guess lol

Thanks! He told me after that he had so much to say and completely went blank so I put him on the spot right there and told him to say what he had planned to say haha should have seen the look on his face..naturally he ended up saying all the right things and made me cry again. First time I have ever cried from being happy, felt great!
