Not Engaged Yet

I'm back!

Had a great trip at the lake and hanging out with some old friends! A little bit sore from tubing behind the boat but definitely worth it.Looks like I missed a lot this weekend! Congrats to those who got engaged and welcome to the new people! How was everyone elses weekend?

Welcome back! I went camping this weekend with some old friends with the BF and dog. I was a little anxious about the trip because an ex-BF was joining us and bringing the woman he cheated on me with several years ago.  However, we had a really nice time overall (+1 for maturity). Also congrats to all the people that got engaged this weekend!

G'morning!  I went camping as well and celebrated the one year until my wedding day.  It rained so bad on Friday but the rest of the weekend was nice.  Played softball.  Ate lots of food.  My body is so sore from sleeping on an air mattress.

I had a crazy-busy weekend. Friday we got to visit with a friend of ours who lives out of state, and Saturday I did my usual volunteering in the morning...And Saturday afternoon and most of Sunday was spent volunteering at a convention, trying to raise some money for the animal rescue... and we did have about $100 when I left Sunday afternoon (doesn't look like a lot, but that's almost 3 spays/neuters). It was pretty awesome because it was a total nerd convention, too! People were dressed in costumes ranging from renaissance getup to storm troopers to Shaun of the Dead (who actually won the competition for King of the Court... hilarious).I got to sit in on a lecture about Doctor Who (awesome), and my BF may be ordering himself a custom light saber from one of the vendors there.Overall, great weekend. Busy... very busy... but great. :)

Malakia - sounds a bit awkward but glad you all were able to put it behind you and have a good weekend!NQB - I hear you on the air mattress soreness thing - they definitely aren't the most comfortable. We have one for when we go to the renaissance festival since we usually camp out and it is so much better than trying to sleep on the rocky ground.Jeana - wow that is one busy weekend! Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun at that convention though - never been to one myself but they always looked fun. Congrats on raising the money for the animal rescue!

BF and I went to SC to see my parents for the weekend.  Hung out on the lake and spent time with them, so a pretty laid back weekend. :)

Sounds like you had an awesome weekend! Friday when I was done work we went into town (haha, yes, we're hick like that) so bf could get his lip ring changed, then we went to the drive-in with a bunch of friends. That was so fun! I had never been before because it's an hour away, but we put hay bales in the box of a pick up truck, all piled in, and watched the movie. Saturday I did laundry and worked on my ethics paper (ick), but Saturday night we went to my second favourite bar with another group of friends. SO much FUN! Ran into a guy who was obsessed with my senior year of high school, but who I had never spoken to haha. Sunday, we recovered from Saturday, and had dinner with my parents.
He pretty much had me at "hello".
