Hey everyone, Long time lurker, haven't posted much before but today is  *I think* going to be the day he proposes. Last night my bf asked me if he could make me dinner tonight, which is not uncommon, but then he said there is somewhere he wants to take me after??? He had a huge smile on his face this morning when I dropped him off for work. He said he can't tell me where we are going..In any case, I'm having a nice meal tonight and a nice date, but I'm kinda jittery. Not good for concentraing at work!Hope you are all having a nice week

    I understand your antsy-ness, but try to keep cool! When FI proposed, we were on a walk in the woods on a trail we used to go to often. I thought he might do it then, but no such luck, the whole walk! We got just about to the end, and I had figured he had something else planned for another day, then he popped the question! Just when I stopped thinking about it is when it happened. And I'm so glad!

    The best advice I can give is stop thinking about it IMMEDIATELY! Your thoughts are going to snowball all day long and then if it doesn't happen tonight as much as you love your bf and appreciate a nice date you will be crushed and possibly moody for the rest of the evening.  I'd get off the knot for the rest of the day just so you don't go bonkers! :-)

    I agree with PP. Your going to drive yourself crazy. Find something else to think about. I know your anxious but try not to keep guessing "is this the night". When I finally stopped caring it happened I was totally surprised. I just thought he was trying to be romantic. it was wonderful.

    OMG we are officially engaged as of last night! He took me out to a lookout not far from our place with a beautiful view...he proposed to me there, then we went back to our house and had a wonderful meal together, drank some wine etc...It was so nice. Although I didn't sleep AT ALL last night, after talking to my BFF! The ring is soooo goegeous, solitaire, white gold, what a shiny diamond! I'll post pics soon!
