Announcing to the world...

My godson is here!!! :)He was born late last night/early this morning. 5.02lbs and 18 inches. Name is Lyndon Wyatt, but he's going by Wyatt. He was in NICU because he was born so early his breathing wasn't quite up to par, but his daddy just called to tell me they've taken him off the breathing machine and they think he's going to be ok. I'm SO excited to meet him on Friday! Stupid work...otherwise I'd have been up there last night!

Congratulations! He is very cute! He looks good, and 5 lbs is an alright size, how early was he? He probably just needed more time to transition

Well, his sister was born last August by emergency C-section, so they had planned his C-section for August 21. His mom went into labor Monday night and they stopped it, then again yesterday afternoon and they stopped it. So when she went into labor again last night after having it stopped twice in the previous 24 hours, they decided to go ahead and deliver him.I guess that makes him about 3 weeks early, maybe a couple days more.

Yea, two babies in a year. If he'd come on his set date, the plan was to have Wyatt on Friday, give mom a day to recover, and then have Piper's 1 year birthday party in the hospital on Sunday afternoon. Sheesh. They wanted to have two kids close together, and had planned to start trying again this past May. They got pregnant a little earlier than that, obviously, but at least they had already planned for two kids close together, so they were ready for it.Thanks for the congrats! I'm super excited. :)

No, uterus! We cannot make a baby!I find myself saying this more and more ever since my goddaughter was born. I'm sure having a godson will help oh so much. ::heavy sarcasm::

Aww, he's so little compared to so many babies I've seen lately (honest to God, maybe it's the water here, but I can't recall the last time I saw a baby born under 9lbs). Very cute! :)
He pretty much had me at "hello".

Very cute!! I LOVE both of his names -neither of those names are very popular around here yet.

Yup, his parents are very creative people. And they happen to love the show Charmed. Their daughter's name is Nancy (family name) Piper (from Charmed). She goes by Piper. Lyndon is likewise a family name, and Wyatt is from Charmed. They hate that I know that about how they named their kids, but oh well. :)Another picture from last night! Wyatt and his mom's hand. He really is SO tiny.
