Small but exciting

Turns out my bf and I have the same exact taste in kid's names. Weirdly exciting, but when he mentioned his first choice for a boy and it matched with mine, I couldn't stop smiling. We've had the logistical kid talk before, but not the name-our-future-children one. The cute baby at the table next to us on Friday night must have inspired him. :) Anyone else have those small but random moments that make you insanely happy with your bf?

We were running errands one night, and there was a broken down car in the right turn lane, with a lady trying to push it out of the way. He pulled into the nearest parking lot, got out, and ran over to help her push her car. That made me smile.

My BF talks to our cats, and treats them like children. I am so incredibly lucky to have a guy who feels the way I do about animals. It makes it way easier to not seem crazy. :)He also completely agreed that adopting from a shelter was the way to go, and supports my decision to volunteer.Yay! Warm fuzzies!

lolo -What was the name? I was having a rough day so my FI decided we'd go to the Humane Society and play with the animals to cheer me up. Three days later we brought Cooper home :)

The name was Aiden (not sure on the spelling). My parents are pretty traditional and used to make fun of me (in fact, my mom did last week) because growing up I always loved the name Brooklyn for a girl. That was another name bf and I agreed on too, so I thought it was cool :)

My fiance brings home gummy bears for me sometimes because he knows I love them - he almost always manages to get them on a day where I'm feeling extra bummed out even though I haven't talked to him all day. He even knows which kind to buy and that makes it even better : )

Sometimes my BF paints my toenails when we're just hanging out at home & he notices they need some TLC. I love it cuz he is so meticulous & he makes sure every toe is done perfectly! =) He treats our ferret Samus like she's our kid. We talked about our future kids' names at an IHOP one day. Like someone else said I think he had a moment when he saw some little kiddies around. <3

I love the way he treats his dog, Sweetie.. she's getting pretty old but he's so caring and loving to her. Also i love it when he kisses my forehead. Another thing.. i remember when i first started my weekend job and he was still living here with me (he went home for the summer) i would work 16 hours and would go straight to see him after work and he'd hug me as if he hadn't seen me in a week when it had only been those 16 hours..it was so cute to think that he missed me when i had just seen him that morning.. :)

I'm having surgery in two weeks and my mom's coming down for it to help my BF take care of me afterwards. My BF asked me the other day out of the blue how to make this shrimp pasta I make all the time. Turns out he overheard me mention that it's one of my mom's favorite dishes to make and he wanted to make it for her while she's here.:

We had a big snow storm and i got snowed in at my bf's apartment complex. Well we decided to venture out for food.. he went to all the apartments of the elderly people asking if they needed anything at the grocery store because he knew they couldn't get out..that's when i knew i had a good one! Lolo, i think that's fate! i do LOVE that name too... reminds me of Aidan from Sex and the City!

Kel, that story reminds me of my FI.  We had a huge snowstorm over Christmas last year, so we had to walk to the grocery store.  On the way, an elderly lady was shoveling her driveway.  My FI stopped and ended up shoveling her whole driveway for her.  He's a keeper :-)
