WFL?

What's for lunch? I'm sick again..so it's soup for me. I wanted taco bell, but driving while nauseas doesn't seem like a good idea...

Soup.  It was pumpkin bisque.  It smelled good but tasted kind of blah.  I wasn't that hungry after all.  Just tired.  I want my bed.

I'm really surprised that Taco Bell sounded good while nauseas. But then again I'm not much into TB to begin with. Pumpkin bisque.... I love, love, love pumpkin flavored things. However pumpkin and squash soup always tend to disappoint. It's a sad world we live in. My goal this fall is to make a dark chocolate pumpkin cheesecake. Man how I love pumpkin and dark chocolate. I find that the two together should be quite heavenly. I had a pulled pork sandwich, with pulled pork from the Honeybaked Ham store. I had never purchased anything from there before and have found the food to be quite delicious!

Oooooh, sign me up for the dark chocolate cheesecake...I have one slice of the diet-friendly pumpkin cheesecake I made this weekend left in the fridge and I'm praying the BF didn't eat it with lunch today...As for my lunch, Lean Cuisine Fetticcini Alfredo. Not nearly as good as the real thing, but it killed my pasta fix without wrecking my diet.

Oceana: Light Fettuccine Alfredohttp://tinyurl.com/yloswxe I'm trying this sometime this week.  I'll let you know how it is.  I loooooove this dish, so I'm hoping the light version is tasty.  Only 400 calories! And you could easily do a half serving of pasta with some chicken and veggies.

Speaking of pumpkin.... Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale. I do quite like that. I need to go back on the recipe search for my recipe. or maybe a few that I can combine in one. All of the dark chocolate pumpkin cheesecake recipes that I find have the dark chocolate be a ganache. I want the chocolate all swirled into the pumpkin. It really shouldn't be too hard to figure it out.

Sorry to hear you're sick, Midnite. I've had a bad tummy situation going for about 4 days now -- think today might finally be an improvement. So, hope you recover more quickly than I did. :)Noelle, that alfredo recipe sounds delish! I think I'll give it a try tonight, but cut down on the pasta, and add a bunch of steamed veggies instead. Work today already sucks and I got here 45 minutes ago. Four hours til my lunch. Sigh...

I'm sick too! Ugh. I'm just starting to get it, but it feels like the flu to me :( I had an egg and yogurt and english muffin for lunch, and dinner was leftover chinese and a muffin. Wow, I haven't eaten well today at all :/
He pretty much had me at "hello".

Jeana, one of my favorite sandwiches at Au Bon Pain was the Mediterranean Wrap, and it vegetarian. Yummy, I really want to go there. They had great vegetarian soups too ( I was a vegetarian in college).

I For dinner I made vegetable/coconut curry with basmati rice. I went to the produce stand and got cabbage, potatoes, carrots, onions and peas... got some ginger root, garlic, and coconut milk... and spent some quality time chopping veggies and listening to Michael Buble. The result was really good, sweet and slightly spicy curry with a TON of leftovers. We'll be eating curry for lunch for days, and still have more in the freezer. Yum!This is abnormal, though. I just happened to have some free time this afternoon since I don't work on Tuesday/Thursday. I promise I'm no Betty Crocker. :P

Thanks Midnite! You're awesome! I hadn't devoted a lot of time to looking yet. When I did look I kept searching for dark chocolate pumpkin and not just chocolate pumpkin. I will have to hold onto this and make it after I get home from Mexico.
