I'm recording it since the plan was for me to go to bed early. Instead I'm catching up with everything on here ; )I too love any wedding show, accept Bridzillas. I hate that show. It just makes me angry.

KD- I think Bridezillas is hilarious. So does BF. I like to watch wedding shows too. I love Say Yes to the Dress.. BF is nice and watches it with me. I also like to watch Whose wedding is it anyways and Platinum weddings(it's crazy... who spends $10,000 on FLOWERS!)

I used to find Bridzillas funny. Now I'm just annoyed. I do LOVE Say Yes to the Dress, My Fair Wedding, and Rich Bride, Poor Bride. Oh wedding shows...

I also love them! I record them throughout the week when I don't get a chance to actually watch them live. David Tutera is amazing! I also love Say yes to the Dress and Bridezillas. Anyone watch Cake Boss on Monday nights? Even one of my students is obsessed with watching Cake Boss LOL and he is 9 years old!

I am a complete sucker for wedding shows. My BF thinks I am nuts, and always asks me..will I still watch them once I get married..and I think I will! I love all the shows, and watch them to get some ideas, and ideas of what to stay away from. Say yes to the dress is a great one, and My Fair Wedding is good because David comes in with brilliant ideas!! Just wanted to show my excitement for the wedding shows, since I now know I am not alone!!

i love cake boss , bridezillas just make me angry and reminds me of a grown up version of my super sweet 16 on Mtv , ugh. i'm not a materialistic person so these shows often just anger me , but i love to cook and bake and seeing those works of art just awes me.

I almost forgot about My Fair Wedding and Rich Bride, Poor Bride. How does Bridezillas annoy everyone..unless you are with a bridezilla. They over-react so much..it's hilarious.

It's slightly funny but mostly just annoying whining and ridiculous demands. I just want to slap the sh*t out of those girls. Every now and then I find it funny but I agree, it reminds me of My Super Sweet Sixteen, which I also hate.

Bridezillas annoys me too... I just don't get how someone can think it's okay to act the way that some of those brides do!  Are they really that selfish?I love watching "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" and "Say Yes to the Dress", but again, I can't understand why anyone would spend that much on a wedding dress!  The same with "Platinum Weddings"... they're just so far from my personal style (which is pretty simple) that I don't get why anyone would want that type of wedding!  I'd rather have my closest friends and family than have EVERYONE we've ever met there just to have an extravagant event.

I love "Say Yes to the Dress". I'd love to go to Kleinfeld's just for the experience. But I can't afford it :( I do like "Bridezillas", but I found that this season the women were too over the top. Most of the brides seemed unbelievable, like they were told to act like they were insane. "Rich Bride, Poor Bride" is one of the main reasons why BF and I are probably going to end up doing a JOP wedding.

I was actually just talking to my best friend about Bridezillas. Do you think they act like this on purpose because how do they even get on the show? Does WEtv pay them for being on it?
  • edited December 2011
They used to advertise that the couples on Bridezillas received a free honeymoon. I don't know what they give them now.
  • edited December 2011
I think they just give them X amount of money now - I heard a rumor that is was somewhere around 5k but I don't know that for sure

I can't watch "Say Yes to the Dress"...every time I happen to catch it on TV, it's always the epi where one of the clerks is bitching because their consult can't budge off her $1000 budget. Yet another reason I'll be shopping at DB/Alfred Angelo...I do like "Who's Wedding Is It Anyways?" because you actually kinda get to see the whole thing from beginning to end. But ::hangs head in shame:: I'll admit my guilty pleasure is...Bridezillas. I just watch those girls and laaaaaaaaaaaaugh. That being said, funny story...my parents are visiting this week, and were scrolling through our DVR saved programs. I have a bunch of epis of Bridezillas saved for rickylee & I's next Girls Night In (hehehe!) and my mom sees them and goes, "Kate, do we need to worry about you being a bridezilla?" and really suddenly, BF looks up from his laptop and really loudly goes "Um, NO." We both look at him surprised, then look at each other, and my mom just loses it. LOL. My boyfriend looks all confused and is like, "I meant that in a good way...you're sane and not bitchy...you're not crazy like them...etc." and then I lose it...and my dad just sits there like, "what?!?!?" Something in how abruptly he said "NO" was just too damn funny...

I like the bridal shows, however sometimes it gets a little nerve wrecking to see some of these brides spend sooo much money on one day I'm talking 50k plus.Fun to watch though :) David Tutura, Say Yes to the Dress. There is another one with a New York Wedding Planner and her husband? I forgot the name...
