"Terms and Conditions" and other Online Agreements- who actually reads them?

So I'm in the process of signing up for an online bank account and I figured it would be a good idea to actually read the terms and conditions. Normally, I skim through them and check the box at the end.
How many of you actually read them word for word? It seems like a good habit to get into, and I don't know if I'm the only one that just breezes through them.

I'm bad too. I usually just read like the first sentence of each paragraph unless it's something super important. But like buggle said, it doesn't help when they're 64 pages long!!

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one then!!!

I could've learned something from the ANTM episode. When I signed up for my first credit card I hardly read the contract. I figured that a company as big as Discover wouldn't put anything crazy in their contracts and I'm glad I'm right but still...I could've given away my first born and been completely oblivious.

BTW, congratulations Elannis!!! Just saw your ticker...now I need to find your post!

I usually read them pretty good if it's something important like a bank, but for the most part, nope!

[QUOTE]Wasn't there a South Park episode about this? Can't say I've ever read terms and conditions for any online thing. The itunes one is 64 pages long FFS. Real life contracts and stuff though, absolutely.

[QUOTE]This reminds me of this ONE TIME, on America's Next Top Model, where Tyra had all the girls sign a modeling contract and most of them didn't read it all the way through and the contract said they had to hop on one foot and quack whenever they were addressed or something. She was teaching them why it's important to read documents all the way through. But I digress. I don't read the terms and conditions things. I should. I know it. They could tell me I have to give them my left leg or something and I would never know. I do, however, read all other forms of contracts (like the venues I book for work, labor contracts when we've had work done on our house, etc.)
