Hi everyone!

I just signed up literally 5 minutes ago and went straight to here to see what everyone was talking about.

Have any of you dreamt about your proposal. Last night, I had a very vivid dream about my boyfriend proposing and exactly how the ring looked. I told my boyfriend about it and he was a little silent afterwards. Maybe pondering the idea? Hmmm....

I do know it's going to be coming. We have been talking about this for a long time and have some ideas for the wedding in mind already (little ones, of course)

It's the pre-thanksgiving snow here! lol. And I'll try not to be too wild. At least I'm not doing the "MARRY ME NOW OR WE'RE BREAKING UP" thing

@bethsmiles - I'll be 29 on Thanksgiving!!!! My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years, I started watching the HP movies this year and fell in LUV!

And I love any style potatoes. My uncle always makes cheesy mashed potatoes for thanksgiving. YUMMY!!

It says you have a wedding date of August 18th, 2012. What happens if he doesn't propose in a few months??? This is a bad idea. Preplanning is BAD. This doesn't need to happen until you're engaged.

Oh yeah, welcome OP.  As others have said please don't pre-plan, that is what the engagement period is for...just enjoy your BF. 

Also, there has to be something about him that you don't love...I'm positive there could be a list if you put some thought into it.  My boyfriend is amazing, but he has his flaws (as do I), it's okay to admit that you don't adore every single thing about him.

Maybe I'm being a  snob here. And I have more patience for it in younger people than I do older ones, but even on message boards and texts, I give side eye for an excessive use of text speak. OP is 29 (in 2 days). I'm 29. I don't "LUV" anything. I don't think "NE1" is a "Q-TEA" and my BF is far from perfect (though we make a good match). 

I don't know, I kind of feel like you should grow out of that after a certain age. Anyone else? I think there's a difference between abbreviations like BF/NEY/FI and typing "LUV" instead of LOVE. Seriously, it's 1 extra letter.

I mean, okay, she doesn't hate anything about her SO enough that it immediately springs to mind when filling out a survey. I'm sure if she really thought about it, she'd start talking about socks in the living room or some other annoying habit he has. Maybe she just meant there isn't anything she dislikes about his personality? There isn't a whole lot I can think of that I DISLIKE about my H, either. He's kind of my favorite person ever.
