    I like to learn, and I enjoy school for the most part. I absolutely love to read, even though I hardly get to anymore. 

    My friends make fun of me because I like anime, and used to watch it. 

    It's surprisingly hard to tell someone your nerdy tendencies.

    DanieKa- I have a year and a half until I finish my bachelor's, then I plan on going to Grad school at some point. I have much more schooling ahead of me. Sometimes it really excites me, and sometimes I am just ready to be done! 

    cu97tiger- I am VERY very picky about my french fries. I like burger kings, but not Mcdonalds. I don't like the big fat ones. I dont like the kind with that seasoning salt. But..if fries are done correctly I love them :)
    As for cheese, yes I love cheese. Especially colby jack and ricotta. I just can't eat a big chunk of cheese all at once. I have to have it mixed or on top of something.
    Yes...I am weird.

    MLekathLEEN- Macy is a crazy hyper dog, but she is kind of dainty and prissy. So it works. What kind of dog do you have?

    Welcome, this is the best board to be in!

    I noticed that you said you should be getting engaged soon, just don't get your hopes up.  BF said he would propose between years 1 and 2 of dating, and here we are...still BF/GF.  It took me a while to get over wanting him to FINALLY propose.

    Enjoy being BF/GF, it's the cute stage that goes away forever when you get engaged!!

    I do enjoy being boyfriend and girlfriend. I like to call him my "man friend" like Carrie did. 
    I only know about an engagement b/c he gave me a timeline he had set AND I am helping him pick out a ring b/c he is clueless. :) Otherwise I wish I was oblivious to it.

    I have a cairn terrier (like toto). She's 5 months old and is already the queen bee with our older dogs. The guy we got her from nicknamed her "little biotech"

    Cairn Terrier's are so cute. They look super cuddly. Our Jack Russell isn't very into cuddling.

    Welcome! I'm a newbie as well and have not yet been proposed to, although it's been almost 3 years since we started dating! I'm in no rush. I just love planning and budgeting (now that's nerdy!). I can be impulsive, so I figure if I start lurking the boards and wedding trends now, when it comes time to plan my wedding in a few years (hopefully) I already know the things to look out for, what I like/don't like, and how much I need to save up lol!

    I have 2 dogs - chihuahua/pug (aka Chug) named Lincoln & Elizabeth. Elizabeth is such a well behaved princess, but Lincoln (whom I suspect has a bit of Jack Russell in him as well) is crazy hyper but he is a big bag of love :)
