That's what I thought too Paige!  But FI said as long as you keep the lid taped on like they give it to you then you're fine.  We of course waited til we were home to start drinking...  But yeah, drive-thru booze, how awesome is that!?!  We have the normal drive-thru liquor stores around here but nothing at all like that...

I want a drive thru hurricane! That would be awesome! (Part of me then thinks... only in the south...) I have had a major craving for a sweet summery alcoholic drink lately.

Throw some vodka in the limeade. I bet it would be delicious!

I'm tellin ya.. those hurricanes were sooooo good but man, just the one knocked us both on our butts!  He had the smart idea of getting us both "double shot extra large" and seriously, they were in 32 ounce to-go cups LOL

I want one of those by my house to then bring to the water park that is walking distance from my house. Sounds like a fabulous fun filled day to me!

Oh and double shot extra large definitely sounds like something FI would also order. As an example here is the drink he ordered 3 of on my birthday at the melting pot a few years ago.

I haven't been to a drive-thru liquor place, but I see them ALL OVER. Daiquiri shops abound!

I was so confused as to how that could be legal... and I was told "As long as you don't put the straw in it, you're good to go!"

Jeter - Glad to hear things are going well! Good luck with the job! I am still alternating between super-excited and panic. Now though it feels like I'm just marking time until I get to move. I have all weekend and part of next week, the head back to bf's. Then I'm BACK in DC for a few days for meetings and to close on the house... Wild times!

None of my friends are in town this weekend so it feels a bit like a wasted weekend.

LOL loopy - Wow, that's a heck of a drink! 

Jeana - That's exactly what it was called - the daiquiri shop!  It's the craziest thing I've ever seen but man oh man they make some good drinks there!!

Paint - Boy do I know those feelings all too well!!  I go from being really really excited to being totally freaked out!  I will be one happy woman when all the craziness is over and I'm settled...as I am sure you will too.  Sorry about you're "wasted weekend" - I'll be having one of those too this weekend.  Just going to finish all my packing and going through things at the storage unit (so much crap I just want to take to the goodwill instead of dragging with me) before FI comes up next weekend to move it all.

Button - I swear it was the hardest thing in the world NOT to put the straw in and drink immediately!!
