No, I do not know if the ring is back in the box. I have been behaving myself and stayed away from the drawer and put the engagement out of my mind. But, BF let it slip today that he is taking off of work on Saturday to have a special day with me. When I asked what we were doing he told me to please try not to ruin the surprise. So, I shut my mouth and haven't asked any questions since. I have no idea why he would take off of work without telling me, but I'm super excited! Whether or not he is going to propose to me on Saturday it should be a fun day... But, fingers crossed! (Feel free to talk down the BSC)

But, for our fun day I would love for you all to give me outfit ideas... The day could be anything from the zoo to who knows, so cute but comfortable and appropriate for any occasion. I don't mind wearing heals if they are boots (I have black and brown) or wedges (I have taupe) but flats are good too and I need suggestions on some to buy anyway

Yay! That sounds like a fun day--and kudos for keeping it cool and together. I recommend NOT wearing a skirt. I got dressed up for a surprise outing... But my skirt and cute shoes kind of killed the whole farm outing. Can you ask if heels or a skirt would be appropriate? I like to get dressed up. You seem to have the right game plan though: whatever happens, it'll be a lovely day! Stave off the BSC, and enjoy yourself.

I don't know how cold it is where you are, but could you wear something like dark denim jeans tucked into your brown boots, a cute sweater, and some accessories? (sadly that's not me... it's Kendi from kendieveryday.blogspot.com)




I like becunning's idea to ask if it's ok to dress up - I don't think that would give anything away. Maybe pick a casual oufit and a dressier one and ask which is more appropriate? It doesn't have to be super dressy though, it could be something like this:

I agree that you should at least know what you can wear, especially if he plans on going outdoorsy and you're dressed for a formal dinner LOL

Shiiiit. I'm leaving the country on Saturday morning! Have fun picking out an outfit... I'm sure whatever you pick will be perfect, because it really won't matter what you're wearing if it does turn out to be that 'super-special' day. I was literally wearing a jeans and t-shirt (I don't even remember which one).

I don't remember that, but that's awesome! lol I'm starting to get the feeling that Saturday is not going to be the day, so that is good either way. I don't want to be disappointed. I'll AW pics of my outfit and fill you in on our day either way! :)
