Ritani Ring Giveaway

Hey y'all. Most of you probably know this, but Ritani is giving another ring away (2 actually). You have to enter the contest on Facebook (or enter someone you think should win).

Contest

I was looking at some of the entries and found this one:

Here

This has to be a joke, right????

I want to marry my BF as much as the next girl, but dear god!!!! I would never dream of entering a contest like this to "push" my BF along. Come on ladies, he will propose when he's damn and ready.

It would be an awesome contest if it was meant to give a couple who doesn't have the money or fortune to purchase an expensive ring, a chance at something special. Stuff like that makes me cringe. I'm embarrassed for those girls who think that by winning a ring their BF is magically going to propose.

You mean this isn't how you convinced your FI(!!!) to propose, Elle? ;)

    Squeee!

Actually, I just designed the ring and then put him in touch with the jeweler.

It's funny how BSC that sounds, because that actually is pretty much what happened.

Thanks for sharing this. I sent it along to a friend, who I think will enter. Not to push her BF, but enter with him.

Eh, I'd enter for the hope that BF wouldn't have to pay for the ring himself. But I don't like that I'd have to give them full access to my FB... no way!

I like the nice stories that come up in the non-BSC version of those contests (i.e. enter together, not make your BF propose).

But that story...man I hope that's fake. If not, I want to send that lady back to the second grade to learn basic spelling.

I'm a hypocrite... I told BF about this site as a joke and to make him laugh at the crazies (specifically the nitwit you posted)... and he goes, "A free ring? I'd want that! Why haven't you signed up?" And I said, "Because I don't need to push you!" And he says, "For a free ring, I'd like to be pushed a little!"

So he filled it out with me. I'm ignoring it unless they choose me as one of their 20 finalists, but if so, I'm totally pimping myself out all over the place to get that ring. It's purty. And it's free.

I think this is real. People are like this.

My BF and I have a friend who has a facebook who types almost just like this. She also has a baby, it is truly terrifying she reproduced and the story of this baby can make a whole post on its own.

Her typing is more slightly legible than the girl's who entered the competition. The super sad part is that her husband updated, saying how ticked off he was that people who post on facebook have horrible grammar and misspellings. He even mentioned how they needed to go back to second grade. I'm not sure if he knew he hit home on that one.

I am dying to read this entry, but don't see it above in your post. Where is the link or the post containing this entry you are referring to? Thanks!
