It's snowing in Boston....

This is NOT the Halloween trick I was hoping for.

Nor is it a treat.

So here's a kinda funny, totally random story:

FI and I were in Boston for New Year's 2 years ago.  He desperately wanted to do the Freedom Trail walk, so I obliged.  Of course it started sleeting while we were doing it and he wanted to finish.  I was wearing jeans, which got pretty wet.

I was sooooo cold when we got back to the hotel room that all I wanted was a hot shower, so I jumped in (being a Southern girl, I did not know what a bad idea this was).  When I got out of the shower, my skin was red and blotchy and itched like crazy.  I seriously thought I was having an allergic reaction to something!

FI (BF at the time) laughed and told me it was because I was so cold before going into the shower.  I was like, "Well, why didn't you tell me not to do that????"  His response: "I thought it was just common sense."

Later that night, we went up to our hotel's rooftop hot tub, got nakey, and drank red wine while smoking cigars as the snow fell around us.  THAT was pretty awesome.
Annnnd that was my experience with snow in Boston. Tongue out

It's snowing here, too. I don't have my snow tires on. I don't have my winter coat out. I was walking around without a jacket as recently as last week. WTF is this bull.

That is AWESOME! I've always wanted to be in a hot tub outside in the snow. So cool.

Yea, up here you learn how to deal with random things involving the cold that I imagine you would not have to deal with down there. Like waiting a few minutes when you have been outside before jumping in the shower. Or heating up the shower before you get in it, otherwise it's just cold water and a cold bathtub floor.

I think you should come back to Boston for NYE (or any other holiday/weekend/random Tuesday) ASAP!

Unfortunately no, because I don't want to look at it long enough to take a picture of it. I am enjoying my wine/denial instead :)

I would love to!  NYE in Boston was pretty awesome.

But this year I think we are going to be in Charleston for NYE.  We try to do a new city every year for NYE as this was the first day we ever spoke and consider it "our" holiday.  :)

I guess I'll have to figure out another time to come to Boston...
