Blissfully happy!

Hello ladies!
So I had to share b/c it made my night last night...and I'm still enjoying it! (No I don't have a ring!haha)  I didn't have time earlier today but here is my lil sappy story:

BF came into the room last night and plunked down on the coach beside me.  He looked at me sideways and smiled.  Then he grabbed my hand and pulled me into a huge hug.  He told me he loved me more today then he had ever loved me and never wanted to let me go.  We just sat there for a few and he kept grinning at me.  Then he got up, smiled and said : "I mean it, you know.  I love you."  and walked away.  I melted!!! It was wonderful!! 

I know that sometimes us NEY ladies complain about not getting a ring yet BUT I just have to say: these moments with him mean more to me than any ring he could ever buy!!!  Ah! I'm so sappy!! hahaha

So who else has had something wonderful happen to them this week?

PS: I'm leaving work soon but I'll check back later tonight - better be some good stories for me when I do! haha

Aw, paige! That's so sweet!!

My father is 64, but has the body of a 90 year old. He's had 2 stokes and did not take care of himself when he was younger. Needless to say, he doesn't work and pretty much stays home all day in his chair and watches TV. Well one Sunday at my parent's house, BF convinced my father to drive to town (about 30 min away) and visit a place he is working. This is a challenge b/c Daddy doesn't like to get out of the house, especially when it's cold!

I later found out that Daddy did come down and he and BF had coffee and drove around to a few places. BF took the whole morning off from work and spent it with my father to get him out of the house. That meant more to me than anything!! I have 2 brothers, and they don't do that for our dad.

I called Daddy later to make sure he got home safely and you could just tell how excited he was to get out of the house and socialize. I almost started crying when he had told me about his day. I couldn't thank BF enough and it made me realize how much I meant to him and he meant to me.

OMG! That is so sweet!! You obviously have a wonderful BF!! So sweet!


Okay, seriouslly tho...going home b/c the inlaws are on their way and I'm still at work!!  The rest will be reading for later. lol

Yesterday morning when I came down stairs BF had left a love letter written on a paper towel on top of my jacket, that's always a nice way to start the day. :-)

That's sweet. I have to say though... the sweetness and the sappiness doesn't fade when the ring is on your finger.

Is that ticker for your wedding date? Do you already have a date planned without a ring yet?

(This is my first time here, so forgive my stupidity lol).

but anyway i'm pretty sure that Paige's ticker is about vacation she's going on w/her BF

I'm a noob in this section (usually hang out in my local boards, my May board, or GIS section). I'm bored tonight so have ventured over to other sections :)

I just learned was BSC meant (thank you dictionary) and was just wondering if I was seeing some BSC-ness in action.

awww that is so wonderful. earlier this week as me and FI were laying in bed he just hugged me and held me closer and closer and told me "i don't know what i would do without you , i am so bleesed to have you in my life , i love you so very much"

Words can't say what this man means to me , and for him to be so open , caring and loving in ways no one ever could possibly be , and i am grateful for every day i have.

A few nights ago Fi & I were wrestling in bed & after he pinned me down (i put up a good fight!) he stares at me with the googly eyes & gives me a long kiss. That was just perfect. He didn't have to say anything for me to know exactly how much love he was feeling for me at that very moment.

I bought one of those dry-erase message boards for the kitchen because I have a terrible habit of rushing out of the apartment at a moment's notice and not leaving a note.... and FI freaks the hell out. (Did it again last week... woops).

Of course, we already HAD a message board, but it was lame and I never used it. This one has magnetic markers and a corkboard on one side!

So, I wrote "This board is better" on it, because it is! FI was kinda like "I can't believe you bought another board." But the other day the board said "This board is hungry."

I erased hungry and put "contagious."

When I came home, it said "This board is on fire"

So, I erased "on fire" and put "a sweetie pounce" (just something we call our cat... we're crazy)

Then, this morning, it said "This board is SPARTA!"

I cracked up. I love my FI.
