There once was a man from Nantucket... Oh wait, that isn't an appropriate story Innocent

My day has been boring, I cleaned out my closets and I now have 3 trash bags full of clothes to go to Goodwill. Working on lesson plans for the week and fighting with FI over our first song.

I went bathing suit shopping today and it wasn't as miserable as I thought it would be. I'm pretty at peace with my body - I don't care if I've got extra flab or thunder thighs. If I'm on a hot beach, I'm wearing a two piece damn it!

I got a cute one piece too, don't get me wrong. I just feel like we go to the beach or the pool to relax, cool off, have fun. Who gives a crap what we look like? We gotta own it!

I can't wear one-pieces.  I wish I could, but I have a really long torso so I have to buy them about 6 sizes up, and then they're all baggy in the boobs.  It sux.

Bathingsuit shopping is no fun.  I always have to try like 50 bazillion to get the right fit.

On the plus side new Family Guy in 10 mins.

Elle, I completely understand... I'm the same way. I end up in two pieces because I have no choice.

I prefer the boy short bathing suits because I hate my thighs and I think it puts less emphasis on my thighs.

When I got my first 2 piece bathing suit where the top had cups, I didn't know that the wire went at the bottom of the boob. I wasn't wearing bras yet, I always wore sports bras because they were more comfortable. So, I wore the top upside down, with the wires on top. LOL! I was like 12 or something.

Paige, I miss you. The end.

And "Oh, Canada" is only mumbled in french. Innocent

So I asked Button the rest of the words to "Oh Canada" but she said there were no more words, just some mumbling.

I just heard the most awesome proposal story.  It's only awesome because the girl's FI almost died after purposing.  It was pretty amazing.

    Hello Ladies!!!!!!

A story huh? I have one. About my nephew.

There were twin girls babysitting him last year (when he was 4) and he had dropped his pants and said hey girls, they turned around, he said "Want to see my lion roar?" Then he started swinging his little boyhood around. I want to know where on earth he heard that!

Paigey!!! I have a funny story for you. Fi calls me at 10 to come to his work. He and his friend were giggling so I knew they were up to no good. He then text me to bring towels. It's raining so I knew exactly what he was doing- muddin. I start driving and he tells me to go to his 4x4 spot he showed me the other day. I ask where it is and he tells me where and to look for the toe truck lights. He is in the biggest puddle and we are waiting for the 5th ( yes, 5th) tow truck to try and get him out. One truck was too small and the chain broke, one said Hellz no, and the last guy tried two different trucks with no luck. It is raining hard and my truck battery has died once while we've been waiting. I think its funny but fi isnt as amused. Eta: we iz free!! 4 hours and 5 tow trucks later. Woo hoo!!

FI read them when we first started dating and enjoyed them enough to get all excited with me when book 7 came out (he even dressed up for the release party -- what a good sport).  He never read the books again though, so he's now forgotten some major plot points and I have to explain everything to him.  Just earlier tonight, he was like "wasn't there some sort of skeleton in Hagrid's closet?  Like... didn't he get expelled or something?"

    Ohhh, sweetie...

Hahahaha. Um, yeah. I was getting sooooo many questions from him! I'm like, "If you keep watching for two more seconds your question is going to be answered! Now go read the books..." I was getting tired of explaining everything lol.

    Paaaaaaaaige!

We were supposed to go to Tahoe this weekend to go snowboarding, but there was a 40 car pileup on the interstate Friday night (I'm not even exaggerating). We decided to postpone to next weekend. They closed a large portion of the highway today because of zero visibility. Californians and blizzards do not mix.

Instead we saw "Paul." I love Simon Pegg (from "Shaun of the Dead").

I don't have any interesting stories, except that I am starting to freak out about April. I have spread myself WAY too thin. Here's a rundown:
1-Editing a website (clicky) where I have to keep on top of different authors for each day, then edit and post their articles. One for each day in April.
2-Writing for a different website (clicky)... at least two articles per week
    3-Training for two triathlons
4-Coordinating the launch party of an organization that I am the president of. It's a $6,000 event with a big-name speaker and 100+ prominent businesswomen from Phoenix.
5-Oh, and my day job, plus trying not to neglect my wonderful BF!

Wish me luck and send me happy knottie vibes on March 31!

I've been taking care of FI for the last week.  He's recovering from his surgery.  Being a caretaker is kind of exhausting, but he's one person I don't mind taking care of.

Other than that, today officially ends my Spring Break.  (Insert deep sigh.)  God, I can't WAIT for this year to be over.  (Please send me vibes of motivation.)
