did I do a good job? (lots of PIP's wedding dress/venue)

I am gratefully hoping that this post doesn't turn out like the last one on my wedding dresses. **prays to TK Gods** 

 I actually didn't go with any of those. I bought this dress off the rack (in the wrong size) as it was discontinued and I only paid $400 for it. I was pumped and I love the dress. It's hard to tell but the sequins start at the hip then slowly trickle down the dress - same way with the back. (the alterations lady called it a "Grecian" dress - I suppose that would work but I have no clue who the designer is.)

I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to pay a fortune in alterations and the dress wouldn't be ruined if I had the work done. I took it in this morning and thankfully we are all good. I'll have my completed dress back by next month. This is final product (kind of) and I wanted everyone's thoughts --- whatever they may be!.

ETA: I also added in pictures of our new venue - I just wanted to see the reaction from other wedding minded people. No one in my bridal party has seen it yet. So what do you think? TIA

I think that dress is a great combination of some of the favorites from your earlier post. We've already established that I am partial to the "Grecian" type style.

And that venue is stunning.

Both the dress and the venue are beautiful. The top of your dress reminds me a lot of the top of one of my dresses.

I love the venue and I changed it on a whim - the only thing that sucks is having to bring in every single item. The park makes us rent it from them so I kind of regret it on that note. Otherwise, I'm pleased! No need to be jealous.

Desert - we're totally cool, lady (if you wanna be). I was never trying to push you out of the way -it was just a bad day. Thank you for wishing me happiness I would never wish anything other than that to you as well! P.S. You do give great advice all the time even if it doesn't fit my desired response.

I know you love the "grecian style" - I had no idea what the hell to call this dress until this morning! I just wish I could find the designer - where I bought it cuts the name out of the dress for some reason.
 
I guess that's why it was so a cheap and discontinued lol.

Thanks to everyone again - I needed to share my stuff somewhere so I can get an honest opinion!

Symphony is the designer of my dress. I just looked through their website, but I didn't see your dress. (not saying I couldn't have missed it though.) I did see some that had similar elements.

I was trying for the airy and romantic feel. Man you guys all describe it better than me! I'm praying to the Ohio God's that it doesn't rain and is not 105* otherwise I might die. <----- I felt like Rachel Zoe. I watch way too much Bravo.

Loop - That does look startling like mine - I love the satin on yours though. I'm betting it's the same designer because the dress is discontinued it wouldn't be on the site. You may have solved my dress mystery!

No problem. If you go to their website and look through the dresses you will definitely find some similar charactersitcs. I wonder if you could email them a pic and ask if they are the designer.

Angie - Thank you so much! It makes me feel really good about myself when I have it on so I guess that's a good thing. Plus it doesn't weigh a million pounds - I thought like you did that it would go well with the venue.

Like I said no one in my bridal party has seen this yet so I wanted to share it with you all first. Oh here are my BM dresses (in this color); the guys will be in tuxes with purple vests/ties.

Dress and venue are beautiful!!! And I love the bridesmaids dresses! I think they will fit the venue well. It also looks like something the girls can wear again, which is always a plus!

Dreamer-  Love everything! Congrats on the great deal on the dress, I am a huge fan of getting a deal.

Loopy- I agree with GPB and Tafft you have great shoulders. (It makes me want to go to the gym right now and work on my shoulders.) Also your necklace is beautiful!
