Be honest...Do I look like Batman?

Ok, so I tried a new eyemakeup look today.  It's called the Reverse Crease look.

I can't decide if it's very runway, or if I look like Batman.  What do you think?

This. Maybe try using different colors and see how it turns out then? Also, when I first tried to quote Jen, it sent me to the Outdoor Weddings board. Odd.

Mimi from the Drew Carey Show comes to mind.  Not Batman.
    I'm not good at feelings.

[QUOTE]I don't even do eyeshadow...I'm not really sure I know how so I stick to neutrals.  I like the effect, but I'm not sure how I feel about the colors.  I wish I had the makeup talent to even try something like that.

I'm really bad at eyeshadow, too. I suck at blending it. I usually stick with neutral colors like browns and golds. Sometimes I'll do a shade of purple if I'm feeling bold.

I cant master that technique so props on that.Very pretty!  For you I would suggest a different color though. Maybe a brown as it looks like your eyes are a hazel color.

Edit: wait your eyes are brown right?

I don't think you look like Batman, but I don't personally love the look. I do like a darker color in the crease, but I think this is a little too much.  Maybe if you used a more subtle color on the top?  Or maybe I would think differently if it looked like you were going out (like with your hair done, etc)?

You should experiment more with the technique.  I think there's something there, but it doesn't work for me with these colors.

I love it! Not for everyday, but for an evening look MEEEOW ;) I'm definitely a fan of dramatic makeup, gonna give this a shot next time I go out. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback guys.  I went with a traditional sort of smoky eye, but with the reverse crease look.  Maybe if I play with golds and browns it'll look better.

And yes, Molly, my eyes are hazel.
