What still needs to be done?
Call and confirm with florist, bakery, and limo. Meet with DJ to pick out music tomorrow. Meet with venue to drop off table numbers, escort cards, etc and pay them. Pay everyone. Send out rehearsal dinner invites. Pick up dress from seamstress. Print Programs. Um...go crazy?

What are you looking forward to most?
Honestly? Sounds cheesy but I just want to be married. I want to be introduced as Mrs and for FI to be my husband.

    How are you feeling?
Feeling alright. I've been going through and doing a lot of wedding stuff this weekend and it's been a little hard. I had to take my grandfather out of the final head count and I had to add him to the "in memory of" section of the program. It's going to be tough that day with him not there.

ps. Did everyone else's spell check button disappear?

What still needs to be done?
Get marriage license (tomorrow, if everything goes as planned), purchase FI's attire (I have a pretty good idea of what we're getting, just have to actually GO GET IT!).  Decide on exact plans for that day - i.e. how I'm getting to the ceremony site so we don't end up with 2 different cars there.  Umm, oh I still need to get new makeup - the makeup I've been using for everyday wear is cheap-o and I'm tired of it, so I want to find something new before then.  Then of course pick up my dress from the seamstress on the 21st.  I believe that's it!  Thank goodness we're "eloping" or I'd be in BIG trouble.

What are you looking forward to most?
Finally saying "I Do" and definitely looking forward to our mini-honeymoon - we desperately need some time away.

    How are you feeling?
Anxious.  I am so ready for the day to be here.

Oh and no, my spell check button still shows (thank goodness! lol)

Thanks Jeter. I'm trying to stay upbeat and happy about the whole process. I'm really still excited about the wedding and being married I just miss him. He'll be there though.

And grrr to the Knot. Bring my spell check button back!

There's just something about grandpa's.... Mine passed in 1997 and I still miss him almost every single day.  He is the one person that I wish could be at our wedding.  He'd want you to have an amazing wedding day though and not be down about him though...

Jeter- Try the Clinuque counter at Macy's. Right now they're doing GWP. Spend $21.50 or more and you get a makeup bag with all sorts of goodies inside. Just to warn ya though, the line might be a bit crazy, don't go on a weekend.

KD... my grandmother passed away in 99 and I wish more than anything she could be here on my wedding day. Heck even for the whole wedding planning process (even though it would have been so much more stressful with 3 crazies, yes I'm calling myself crazy, trying to plan 1 big shindig)

While everything leading up to your bg day will be hard just remember he is watching your every move and being your guardian angel.

    ::HUGS::

Hetshup, I'm so sorry. I don't think I knew that. I keep thinking that my grandfather and my dad's parents will all be sitting together at the wedding. I'm not a very religious person (getting married in the church for my mom and grandparents) but I definitely believe that something happens after we die and we are surrounded by our loved ones even if we can't see them. My grandmother keeps finding drink chips to the bar my grandfather hung out in, in her dryer even though she hasn't washed anything of his since he died. He's here and letting her know! Your grandmother will be there.

Ok, I'm done. That got a lot deeper than I meant it to.

HETSUP... I don't think I knew that either. I am so sorry you both are having to go through this exciting and stressful time with additional stress and grief.

You both will be in my thoughts and prayers over the next week and a half in hopes that you will find peace in them being called home.

Oh and Jeter if you are looking for new makeup try Bare Minerals - I have been using it for about 2 months now and it is fantastic.

Thats what I used to use tafft and really liked it .. then I got cheap all of a sudden and went to this... So, yes, that's probably what I am going to go back to.  Especially after seeing what "normal" makeup does to my skin..
