Decisions, decisions

Holy crap, I never realized how many DECISIONS I would need to make while planning this wedding. The latest one that has just about sent me over the edge... what size comb do I want for my veil?

I've found an Etsy seller that will custom make my veil to the length I want it (a non-standard 62") and add rhinestones for only $66 (including shipping!). Now I need to figure out whether I want a 3" comb or a 4.5" comb. My goodness. I have NO idea what my hairstyle will be, so I have no idea where to even start in deciding that...

I've been avoiding the whole veil thing myself. How did you decide on the 62"?

I second Liv, also maybe the 3" will be easier to hide?

Oh....check out a ruler a 4.5" comb seems huge to me, but maybe I'm clueless?

I'm 5'5", and I figured I'd have it about in the middle of my head so I subtracted 3'. I want it to just brush the floor/my train, so with my 2-3" heels, it should be perfect. Totally scientific, as you can tell.

I'm also thinking I don't want the 108" width... I might do the 70" width because I don't want there to be tons and tons of fabric back there. It will detract from the back of the dress.

ETA: I thought 4.5" seemed crazy long, too, so I'll go with the 3". Too short a comb will be way better than too wide a comb.

LOL, those kind of choices drive me crazy.  I found out it's much easier to plan a wedding when you don't really care about the little details.

I vote you go on the smaller side and err on the side of caution so you don't end up with a ginormous comb if you don't need one.
