PSA - JD3

DH got me Just Dance 3 for our Wii a few weeks ago. I lost close to 20 lbs before the wedding with JD2, and I was hoping to start back up with working out (I've been slacking since the honeymoon), so he thought this would help motivate me.

Holy balls. I just scorched 750 cals in less than an hour, and I'm trying really, really hard not to puke all over our living room carpet.

Consider this the Official Oceana Seal of HolyBalls Approval.

Nice! I don't have a Wii, but Dance Central for Xbox is great for exercise, too. I've seen ads for the new version.

I need this. Does it matter which one I get or are they all basically the same just with newer music?

I haven't played it yet, but DD got JD3 for her birthday last week. We are a Just Dancin family! She has all 3 games and they're by far the favorite.

Honestly, I like them both (JD2 and JD3) and would say it's worth the money to get both. They both give you the "Sweat" option, which is what tallies up what you burn (you get "sweat points"...4.2 sweat points = 1 cal burned).

In all honesty, each game has its features that I like. Personally, I like the music on JD2 better, but I think the choreography on JD3 is better (and harder, for that matter). JD3 also gives you the option of mash-ups, which I really love...they definitely keep you on your toes (as it can become easy to get into a rhythm once you've done the dances enough). JD3 also has more group/duo dances, which come in handy when we have parties (yes, we play this at parties...it gets intense, LOL).
