Figured I'd make a new post so as not to threadjack CDE's post
It's been a pretty easy pregnancy for me aside from the morning sickness I had early on. I do however have what's called placenta previa which means that the placenta is partially covering my cervix and makes a normal delivery dangerous for both myself and Lil Miss. Basically if I start dilating then the placenta could separate early and then she wouldn't be getting enough nutrients and there would be a lot of bleeding - just a bad situation all around. So for that reason my doctor said it would be best to schedule a c-section at 37 weeks to prevent any of that from happening.
Lil Miss has been very active and she's healthy. The ultrasound tech told me last week that she's got a ton of hair too
Her current estimated weight is 4 lb 14 oz which is a little small but since I'm small my doctor says it's not too surprising that I'll have a small baby.
There's not much new in the nursery just a few little things that we need to take care of. Our bedding set is on order and should be in by Monday and other than that I need to find some pictures or something to hang on the walls. It's all coming together nicely. This is the set we've picked out
