    OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG....

    ::bobs up and down::

    I'm SO FLIPPING EXCITED!!!!

I had my first house dream....I dreamed that we closed- got into the house and something totally weird happened with the kitchen. It was SMALL and narrow. In fact- you had to turn sideways to get through it. And there were too little stoves. It was totally weird.

This is a picture of our real kitchen:

Oooh...and I have furniture pictures to show you!! Let me go and dig...

Everything is going really smoothly with the close- now we are just waiting to sit down and get the keys.

I didn't take Friday off, since Andrew is just planning on signing papers and then getting the carpet clean.

Here is the furniture we are having delivered on Sunday:

Our bedroom set. I love how sophisticated it looks- and just LOVE my dresser with the mirror.

    This is the reclining sofa:

that will be going into this room, which we call the "den."
(Andrew gets confused with the living room and the family room)

We'll have to figure out how to arrange this room, because that 55 inch tv is NOT going to fit on that fireplace at all. We're also going to have to incorporate some more color into this room with some accessories. We also have two matching chairs we are getting reupholstered but I'm afraid they will look a bit too much like that fireplace.

Moving on....we also bought this cute love seat that will go with a couch and recliner that I have and will go into our "library/front room." (which is technically the living room and where this family now has a huge pool table.)

I loved the "spaces" that they made at American Furniture Warehouse with the use of a sofa, love seat, and chair. Kinda like this:

We're going to somehow have to make this "space" in this space:

    Any ideas?

ETA: Oooh...and we also got a queen size mattress set so we have something nice for Liv to sleep on when she gets out. :)

The main guest bedroom is going to be yellow. Laughing
Any fun ideas for this room?

And the other guest room is a decorating free-for-all. Anyone want to take a shot at it? ;)

    I LOVE your kitchen!
    I LOVE your fireplace!
    I LOVE your furniture!

I'm going to live vicariously through you and enjoy seeing what you come up with! You should start a pinterest board for the rooms!

Everything looks great! That is a bit of a dilemma though with the arrangement of the den room.

I like your idea of the space within the space. Or as my dad would call it, a "conversational grouping". lol. The first time he heard that phrase he was quite excited.

In the yellow room, you should keep the colors to yellow, gray and white, and then I'll live vicariously through your pictures :)

I'm confused about the part where you said his family currently has a pool table. Did I miss that you were buying this house from someone he's related to?

I think you should host a Knottie GTG! I am so flipping excited for you!!!

Nope- I said "this family." The current occupants have a pool table in that room. I guess they didn't really know what to do with it either- and I have a feeling they really don't play pool much either.

There are just so many darn sitting spaces in the house... The "library/front room", dining room, kitchen nook, den- and eventually another living room in the basement (in which Andrew wanted to make into a lego room and I said..."Um..NO.")

Do you think I could pull off yellow, gray and white- and a bit of navy blue?

How did I miss this? Duh....
We could fit SOOOO many people in our house...if y'all like air mattresses. :)

And Colorado is pretty central to everyone!

I would be SOOOO honored to host a G2G!! Do you think it could really happen?

    DO WANT!

I think my entire living room would fit in that kitchen. I'm so jealous!
