Engagement Chicken....You're doing it wrong. (I'm Engaged!)

Hi Ladies!

Well- as you can imagine- yesterday was a very big day!! (The work day seemed to drag on for so very long!)

It was so surreal getting to our home and having Andrew greet me at OUR front door. Wow.

Shortly after I got home, Andrew gave me my keys. They were on the cutest heart shaped key chain that he had engraved! On one side was the date and the other it says, "New House, New Life." Just as I was saying..."Oh my gosh- When did you get this done?!" I saw it...

The ring.

Andrew proposed in our empty dining room- and I was ecstatic. Of course, I cried and we hugged.

And I'm so happy to know that everytime we have a dinner in our dining room- I can think about when he asked me to be in his life forever.

Later that evening- he made ENGAGEMENT CHICKEN! LOL! A few months ago I told him about the recipe and he thought it was funny. He thought you ladies would get QUITE a kick out of it! The chicken was delicious and we shared a cute picnic in our living room.

I'll post lots of pictures when I finally get the internet! (Who knows when that will be?!)

But in the meantime:

Haha! You all make me cry when you cry!! LOL!

Today the movers are coming and I think my biggest focus is going to be painting our bedroom with Andrew's dad. What a big day!! I'm sad I can't wear my ring!

Andrew's Aunt and Uncle are coming today. I met them after dating Andrew for three months. When Aunt Maryanne got to the airport she called Andrew's mother and said, "I just met your future daughter-in-law." So I'm especially excited to give Maryanne and George a BIG hug and show them the ring!

Oh thank God I came back on here one more time before we left the house. I am sitting on my couch crying. If FI came in he'd think I'd gone mad but I am so very very happy for you and Andrew. I was wondering if he would propose sometime around the closing.... he did such a great job.

YYYAAAHOOOOOOO!!!!! I forgot to tell you last night that I squealed out loud at work and my coworker was like what? I am so so so happy for you!!!! I love you! Now when you come to San Francisco we can go wedding shopping!!! WHOOOOT! I am so beyond over the moon happy and thrilled! And I love that Andrew used Engagement Chicken, I even told Noah and he was so excited! *hugs* I am so happy and proud!
