Majorly AW-ish: my DIY projects from this weekend

I did a first printout run through of a lot of the DIY projects I've been working on! My mom's too far away and my FI can only get so excited about crafty stuff.... so I'm showing you guys!

Dessert Table Letters:

Escort Cards:

Celebratory Flags: (in lieu of blowing bubble or throwing petals. We're going to have a sign that says "When the Newlyweds pass your way, wave your flag and shout 'hooray'!"

Wedding Mad Libs!!!

Looking at different belly bands.... with this color blue envelope.

Table Name cards:

This is our RSVP postcard. The photo is an birdseye view of our venue. I'm going to spraymount my design on to the other side:

everything seems fantastic! i've got a soft spot for the flags, though!

P.S.  Just seeing those elements, I want to crash your wedding.  It looks like it is going to be sooo much fun.

And by perusing your bio, I may just have to come and have little Mutley in NY so that I can stalk you on your wedding day.  Swoon.

WOW!  Everything looks fantastic!  I love it all.

I am so jealous of your skills.  Do you use professional applications/printers/paper or are they things regular people like me generally have access too as well?

Kat- you are amazing, and should be a vendor, but not really b\c you would be banned. Those are all so great, and I love the flags the most. I'm with Mutley, if you keep being so cute, I will find a way to crash without being creepy.

Watch 12 of us show up, and you are like... who ARE those people? And why are they so funny?

Mutley if you're calling yourself a whale I'm going to smack you! I doubt that even at 9 months that word will accurately describe you. :-p

Hetshup we'll show up with Cheese and bottles of cheap wine she'll know exactly who it is. Dibbs on the Yay flag.

aw you guys are so sweet! thanks!! i'm really excited how it's coming together!!!

buttons - i have heart palpitations when i think about how excited i am for the flags. haha! i'm so lame!!

mutley - please come birth your child at my wedding? please?

ana - i would venture to say, yes, it's all professional. i'm a graphic design and also do freelance work, and my dad also started his own design boutique so I have access to a lot of things most people don't.  I used the Adobe CS programs to make everything. I'm going to order paper fairly soon. Going to use his business printer to print everything, and I'm painstakingly cutting everything out myself. (*sigh, stupid perfectionistism)

on the not-so-professional end, the flags are being put on shishkabob sticks @ 50/$5, and the the letters were 50 cents each at AC Moore!!

hetshup - creepy or not, you shoud all crash!!!! that would be HYsterical!

Creepy in real life is different then creepy on the internets. But Kat, you have fair warning now. Get extra food. We like it.

If I do come, I will make sure to wear white and birth my child during your ceremony.  Those are my stipulations!

I will be 36 weeks at the time of Kat's wedding.  I will be a pregnant whale.  There are no if's, and's or but's about it.  Not that it will be bad, but I will be HUGE.

As long as your gift covers your plate (for you and baby, you are eating for 2 after all) and you don't mind standing during the ceremony, we'll call it even.<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />

That's awesome that you can use your dad's stuff.  And you're very good at what you do.  I actually have the Adobe CS software (I use it to make figures for publications) so hopefully that will help me if I decide to DIY anything.  Although my figures aren't usually quite as cute and artisitc ;)

You people are too demanding.  So now, I have to skate out into the middle of an ice rink and then give birth, standing up while wearing ice skates.   RIDONKULOUS!
Just for that, I am wearing black to the wedding now.

OMG I am rolling on the floor right now ladies! I actually get some work done and I miss all this!

Here's the plan ladies, fly into Syracuse and we can drive out to Belhurst together. We can strap the whale to the top of my Element and arrive in style! Road soda's are on me!

Nothing like a butt-skimming dress on a very pregnant woman to make all of your guests think classy.  Wedding genius.
