Holy Wow! I'm getting married in 21 days! This engagement has flown by!

Yay!!! For how long were you two engaged? Are you nervous, excited, anxious? Lol, I'm curious by nature. How do you feel about it all? I'm just wondering what I have to look forward to in 10 months, lol. I'm so excited for you though!

We got engaged on 1-23-11, and we are getting married on 12-3-11 (it's the same numbers). But, we started pre-planning last November (I know, I'm a bad bride)

I'm ready for the day to get here! There has been a lot of unnecessary drama, and I'm ready for all of that to be over!

It has been soooooo much fun to have showers and get to see friends and family. And, getting bridal portraits was a lot of fun too! FI and I are really enjoying opening all the presents that have been arriving each day! We have a room in our house that is dedicated to all of our new gifts, so that we don't use anything until we are married. We each sneak in there every once in awhile, and just look around, and read all the boxes of all the new things we have gotten. FI keeps rearranging the room.

It's stressful, but, it'll be worth it in the end!

Nope... Other than my brooch bouquet and all the fur capes for the bridesmaids, we didn't do hardly any DIY projects. We've pretty much just paid other people to do everything. I do still need to confirm the centerpieces (I'm doing that tomorrow and will take pictures) and finish up our OOT guest bags. And wrap our wedding party gifts.

I always thought I'd be more of a DIY bride, but it didn't work out that way! I just didn't have time to do a lot of projects.

I don't think I'd be able to stay out of that room full of gifts either, lol. I like your quote, by the way! I found one last night that was very similar, "I'm not telling you it's going to be easy; I'm telling you it's going to be worth it!" I think it's a nice way to look at things.

I'm thinking we'll do a lot of DIY, but we may end up doing it like you did and just paying for it, lol. We'll see.

Still so excited for you!! It's so close!

I feel the same. I thought I'd be diy-ing a lot more than I am, but with places like etsy it is almost as cheap to have other people make stuff (and do it better than I could).

Yay for being so on top of things though! I bet that will make everything a lot less stressful!

So exciting!  The last month seriously FLEW by, so your wedding will be here before you know it.

We didn't do too many DIY projects either, which was actually kind of nice.  In the weeks leading up to the wedding was mostly just lining up final details with our vendors, but no projects to stress over finishing, so that was definitely a plus to skipping that part.
