Kat, the view from up here is all rainbows and puppy dogs! lol

It's going well. I e-mailed my Grandpa last night (he's pretty much deaf so calling is no good) and he is over the moon for us. Other than that I'm soooo busy...seems like everyone wants to see me, FI or both of us. haha

Yesterday Mom's BFF took me out to lunch and we chatted.

Tonight I'm booked SOLID. Drinks after work, then dinner, then going out with some of the girls. I might get to see FI before bed...maybe?

Then tomorrow Dad wants to talk to us about money. I would never ask for some but mom informs me he has an "engagement gift" for us. (?)

Then Thursday it's dinner with my BFFs.

Friday is BFF's graduation celebrations/drinks/meet for lunch/omg when am I going to sleep?!

Then I'm volunteering pretty much all weekend for the Marathon that's here in town.

I'm not really sure when I'm going to get to sleep or see FI. *shrug* But every time I look at my hand I can't help smiling and thinking about how cute he looked kneeling in front of me! Sometimes I kind of want to squee.lol

Wow busy busy! If your folks are cool, maybe they're chipping in some wedding cash! (If they aren't cool, don't take it! You'll end up with a peach and turquoise wedding, wearing your mom's wedding dress. Just sayin'.)

hahaha, Paint my parents are very cool. The only "demands" they have for our wedding are, and I quote, "Some great Scotch at the bar and lots of drinks"

Funny you mention a dress tho! Mom asked if I wanted her dress earlier today...I delicately told her that I think she looked stunning in her dress but it`s not my style. She was totally cool with it! Little does she know I DO want part of her dress...I would love to wear her veil and or incorporate part of her dress into the day somehow. But that`s a conversation for another time!

That would be nice to include parts of her dress. My mom really wanted me to wear hers, but well....that dress can stay in the 80's.... My BF told me he hopes our daughter can't wear my dress someday, because that means shes 4'6" or less in height.

That would be quite a sight! My boyfriend is only 5'7" so we work out well, but my father was 6' that was a bit too tall compared to my height. My great grandmother was also pretty short (not as bad as me) but her husband was 6'4" and she had to stand on a rock to kiss him...there are pictures its quite a sight

I hear this! I'm 5'1. Bf if 6'3+. Oh well. I'm really stretchy - like Gumby. The worst is when we go out with a bunch of tall people and I have look up all night to talk to them. My neck always hurts!

Love your parents! Wish mine would just drink Scotch and be happy!
