Because, I'll admit-- it's true. We do tend to be pretty hard on new posters. Sometimes a little too b!tchy. Seems like everyone is looking for the tiniest little thing to criticize, and they forget what it was like to post for the first time.

Or, just to be a naive teenager. Who wasn't a naive teenager? And do we really need to be downright mean to them before they even have a chance to act "growner than what they are?"

And, the by-laws are really LONG, dudes. It was funnier when it was short. And when it was actually funny.

And, if someone wants to badmouth a regular, LET THEM. It's their business, and we can all take it. Might be a bad idea, but so what? Remember the chick who said Button's buttons were lame? That was a great thread. Hilarious. Because everybody HAS her buttons in their sig.

I dunno, I was thinking the last day or two with all these newbies that it's a shame we (as a board) are constantly on the lookout for BSC and will label people at the drop of a hat, or if they don't post again within 2 hours we say they ran away scared. I mean..... not everyone is good at communicating through text, and not everyone refreshes the page on their days off from work (guilty as charged right here).

AND--- 17 years olds have a RIGHT to be BSC. They don't need to be ganged up on about it. They're a little nuts. We all were! If you were sane at the age of 17, I don't even know what to say to that. And THAT is a miracle.

So, yeah. We were bound to get made fun of. 'Cause we've been taking ourselves way too seriously.

Just my opinion, of course.
