AW: So what have I missed? (PIP)

So what did I miss this weekend? I pretty much stopped reading on Thursday afternoon, and didn't really get to see much. Is there a reader's digest version?

As for me, we went to see my grandparents this weekend, but we also made a stop in NYC for a day and a half, and as a friend of mine said on FB, it looks like we ate our way through the city lol FI has never been to NYC, so it was definitely something new to him.

Why are pastries so delicious up north?

We got to see Jersey Boys, and it was phenomenal.

Freezing my buns off on a Circle Line tour, gosh, she's beautiful!

Seriously, look at the size of this sub in the diner!

Ooh, that food looks great and I'd love to see the Statue of Liberty some day! Looks like you had lots of fun! : )

My big news is that I'm no longer a girlfriend; I've been promoted to fiance! : )

I heard Jersey Boys is AMAZING, I'm so jealous you got to see it!

When you took that boat tour past that Lady, you went right by my apartment!

I'm sad I missed you while you were up visiting :(

I also missed you around here!!

Looks like you had a great time!  The food looks delicious.  Which reminds me that I should go eat breakfast before work.

Let's see, while you were gone:

Other than what Yaga mentioned, we also used our superpowers to fight BSC.  We had a couple certifiable ones while you were out.

Oh, and Jen, TigerLilySabre and I met up for wine.  But I haven't posted the proof yet, so I guess in internet world, it hasn't technically happened.

True story, it is amazing! We had a blast even though we were dead tired after traveling and walking around the city all day. But it was so worth it! I missed you too, on the upside, FI was so amazed with NYC that he wants to come back again, soon.

I love the photos, Ollie! Especially the face you're making at that sub.

I had to check to see if you saw my friend in Jersey Boys, but he's not on Broadway, he's in the national tour.

We did see it on Broadway at the August Wilson theater and it was fabulous. FI really enjoyed it. Apparently he used to listen to the Four Seasons a lot as a kid with his dad (who passed away 6 years ago), so it was really enjoyable for him.
