I am completely exhausted, but I wanted to go ahead and werite this up just in case I forgot something.
We had a FABULOUS time. We both were on our bikes (and we got free tshirts) and probably rode about 10-15 miles at least back and forth. We were unlucky enough to have the farthest away clue first, so we spent a lot of time getting there. But we got to meet a lot of nice people who were willing to help. We rode in the street during traffic and I was surprised that I wasn't even scared. My pedal completely annihalated my ankle and blood was pouring over my shoe, but I didn't even notice until BF pointed it out to me.
But the most important thing is how we were able to test our teamwork. We did not get stressed out (even when we were at the completely wrong museum) and we didn't snap at each other. In fact, we didn't even raise our voices. Everything we said was positive. It was a great learning experience and it really gave some insight to our problem solving skills. I was good at the puzzles, but he was good at directions and we trusted each other.
All in all, it was great. We didn't win, but the team that did had to split up and worked on opposite sides of town. I'm glad we didn't choose to do that, I think we gained a lot more from the experience by sticking together and being patient with each other than we would if we had focused completely on winning.
