I'm not engaged. At the moment, the BF is on another continent anyway.

Besides, I like where we're at right now. We're young and in love and we have our whole lives ahead of us. It's a fun place to be.

Engaged and getting married in October.

Friends of ours got engaged a couple weeks before us and are getting married 2 weeks before us. One of my very best friends got engaged 5 days after we did and is getting married in June 2011 at the same place as Katanne. It's actually really fun to have these people to talk wedding stuff with. We are all really excited and willing to talk about it 24/7 whereas a lot of people get sick of hearing about it all the time.

Haha, if only it were that easy. 3 of us from my group of best friends are successively getting married 3 weeks apart. One in Philadelphia, One in Boston, and then mine in NY.

Well... BF is constantly talking about when to get married (next year Spring or Summer)where, what type of reception etc.  He also refers to me as future Mrs. __ a lot.  We are pracitcally engaged but he refuses to actually be "engaged" until he put a ring on my finger (silly boy, but I respect his wanting to be traditional)... so we're NEY.

Mutley-- We are all waiting with bated breath, I'm sure someone has a pink tab and blue tab of internet images. I personally had to stop looking b\c I got all baby crazy.  And I'm not so much for babies. I always tell people, this is the only time when you will have so many people thrilled to look at your genitals. Only while in utero.  

OP-- The issue is that you came rolling in like you owned the place, though it is the internet, there is a certain amount of seeing how people interact. It's a bit like if you wandered into a established group and acted like the queen bee. Most of us will think who the F is this chick. I would recommend: It seems like there are a lot  of engaged or married ladies..... blah blah blah.

thanks for the tip, hetsup.  that's actually what i did in my original post on here, but i thought it would be a good conversation starter, so i made it a separate post.  it seems like there are a lot of newbies like myself that would benefit from some introductions, and i wanted to get to know everyone a bit better.  didn't mean to offend..
