Some good news

Well, first of all I got my first annual report back from my job and I actually got a stellar report back from my boss. She marked me as "consistently exceeds expectations"! So I guess I haven't been doing too bad multi-tasking TK and work, lol. Now if only I could get a raise, lol.

Also, and I like to think it's partly because of all of the well wishes and prayers from you ladies, but FMIL got her test results back about a lump they found in her breast and it turns out that it's nothing dangerous, not cancerous at all, so that's great news!

Anyone else want to join in and share some good news? : )

That's good news Ely!

I'm not actually sure I have good news... well, I got my review back from work too, and it was positive.

The education career fair is next week! I have my line of attack all set up, and a superintendent of a local school district that offers Latin is going to be there.  Attack!  OKay, maybe "IMPRESS!" is more of what I'm shooting for...

isn't it wonderful to get a great review? Something about hearing your boss say you're doing a great job just really makes you feel good. Puts a little extra pep in your step. Congrats! You seem like you'd be very mature and professional in person, so I have no doubt you deserved your high marks. I'll cross my fingers for that raise to come sooner rather than later now! Also yay for a cancer-free FMIL too! She must feel so much relief after news like that!!

Today is my b-day, so I'm happy as a clam. My mom flies in tonight so i'm super excited about that!

Happy Birthday and thank you : ) ...  I think your happy is rubbing off on me, lol. Despite the fact that I have to eat only jello and beef broth today, I'm surprisingly jolly, lol. I think you've always sounded mature and like a really cool person too! Maybe if I get back out to Colorado to visit FI's dad, we can have a NEY G2G. : ) ... We just went this summer though, so it'll probably be a while to save up for a trip like that again with planning a wedding and then we'll be saving for a house. But I can still dream about meeting you lovely ladies! : )

I am so happy to hear about your FMIL... and I am not surprised you got a great review. Congrats!

My happy news today is that I get to see a whole bunch of my college girlfriends tonight in Atlanta. Also, FI was finally able to call me from Germany, and we got to have a face-to-face chat through Fring. I called him silly for making me install it, but it was so great to not only hear his voice, but see him, too. It had been three full days since we'd talked, so that really made my night.

And not much good news on this front. Still having issues with friend/roommate that I posted about so long ago.

Congratulations on getting a fantastic review, and that's such great news about your FMIL!

My happies for today are that it's not raining (pretty common fall/winter weather where I am), I got a new dishwasher in my apartment yesterday that actually cleans the dishes, and I have the day off tomorrow to spend with BF who has been rather neglected due to my rehearsal schedule.

My good news for the week is that by joining sprakpeople.com and actually tracking stuff and working out consistently - I have lost 4 lbs. I also have my vacation time all set for December and our pumpkin for the carving contest at work is awesome and we better win haha.
