I have just decided to make cupcakes as well after seeing these yummy recipes!!

The dreamy cream filled I want. YUM!

Ohhhhhhhhh! They all sound delicious.Tongue out

I would probably be most likely to eat the Espresso and Champagne ones first. The lemon blueberry also looks pretty.

I would also do a plain chocolate one with a raspberry topping of some sort. (Personally, but I love that flavor.)

Rainbow. I just love these!

But really, the Dreamy Cream Filled ones look yummy!

Kat - I was trying to think of doing some sort of raspberry filling or something like that because FI loves raspberry.

Many options!!

Chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting with fresh raspberries whipped into it would be my first choice.

Or you could add raspberry preserves to the cupcake batter.

But there appear to be LOTS of good suggestions online as well.

Of those choices I'd pick expresso unless I was in the mood for Pina Colada.

Mmm. I'd like the Dreamies, the Espresso, the Lemon Blueberry (although I think Lemon Raspberry would be better), and the Champagne. The others sound good too but these would be my top choices.

Does this mean you are making the cupcakes for your wedding? Or is this just for fun?

I am making cupcakes for the wedding. I figured it would be a lot more inexpensive than buying them. I'm excited. They sound so tasty!

I vote for the champagne and the pina colada. Does that make me a lush?

Another favorite - whip up a box of strawberry cake mix and fold in chunks of real strawberry, bake, let cool. Fold more strawberry chunks into vanilla icing and ice cupcakes. Mmmmmmmmmmm....

ps. I pm'ed you another recipe you might like :)

Thanks for the input!

Here's what I have decided:
Champagne
Pina Colada
Dreamy
Chocolate with raspberry filling

I may do one more depending on how many I get from these.

I approve your choices. Champagne was going to be my 1st choice.

And now, I am truly hoping that there is champagne cake at Mr. Man's shower on Saturday.

I kind of want to make a trial run of champagne cupcakes now.

I think I may be changing the pina colada to Oceana's margarita cupcakes.

I'll be happy to taste-test the "rejects". :)

All jokes aside, be sure to test run all of the cupcakes you choose to make before the actual time you need to make them. That will help you adjust the recipe if needed, gauge how long it will take to make them, how long to ice them, etc. and still give you plenty of time to adjust your plans if needed.

I would love to try espresso and champagne, but I have to admit my first thought upon reading the title of the thread was "rainbow!"
