Golden Globes

So, did y'all catch the awards show last night? What did you like? Not like?

And, most importantly, whose dresses were your favorites? Wink

    I didn't want them. :(

But, then I remembered HOLY CRAP! Today is monday! That means the Bachelor is on! Really excited now.

LOL. luvdncn, I can't decide whether I loved or hated Natalie Portman's dress. I just kept staring at the rose emblazoned on her chest and thinking...hmmm...I did think her speech was a little weird, though. She talked about procreation for the first half, then scratched her nose in front of the entire world...again, I say, hmmm...

    I watched some of it!

You know, I think that Ricky Gervais is hilarious, but he was really off with his jokes. . . at least I didn't think the crowd enjoyed them very much.

I was so happy for Chris Colfer - I absolutely love his character on Glee and he totally deserved to win. And Jim Parsons is an absolute genius at playing Sheldon, so I'm glad he won too. I haven't really seen many of the movies that were nominated, so I can't comment, but I really hope Johnny Depp gets some recognition some day - he's under-awarded for all the great work he's done.

FI really loved Emma Stone's dress. I didn't see anything I particularly loved.

I was busy watching new Simpsons and Family Guy.  But I did catch Jane Lynch's win and Paul Giamotti thanking Canada.

@Marley-I totally agree. Her speech was awkward. I didn't watch it and have no desire to. Haha, she could have chosed a cuter dress but overall I thought she looked super pretty with her little baby bump!

I like Ricky Gervais, but some of his jokes were just wrong for the crowd he was telling them to. Same goes for Robert DeNiro's speech, when he was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille award.

LOVED that Chris Cofler and Steve Buscemi won. The movie awards were all really predictable.

I LOVED Olivia Wilde's dress, as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Amber Riley and Melissa Leo's. I HATED Emma Stone, Tilda Swinton, Julianne Moore and Heidi Klum.

Agreed about Ricky, GPB. I also loved Olivia Wilde's dress! I gushed over it. I guess it's that ballerina background, but MAN, give me a pile of well-shaped tulle, and I'm all over it.

I was so glad Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, and Glee won. I do have issues with the show sometimes, but overall I like it and I think Chris is really good, as well as Jane Lynch--god, she is the funniest woman ever.
