I need STD opinions again!

Yep, I'm going to bug you guys to death with this.

I did a quick (and sloppy) background removal in photoshop to create something I may actually really like.  Please keep in mind that the final edit would be much prettier.

Thoughts?  I can change all the colors and fonts.  I started with black on the bottom but my mom likes the blue better.

And does the fact that my hair desperately needs re-highlighting just ruin it altogether?

I guess I'm still not a fan of the location of the date. I think it should either go below "save the date" or somewhere in the blue box. What was the original background? What prompted you to remove it?

    I really like it Elle.

My only issue is the white corner, but that could be just because of the white corner on a white background.

<div>I just don't feel like that particular card works very well with a very colorful photo.  I tried it with the background at first... and it just looked out of place to me.  And when I use a black-and-white photo, I feel like it looks wintery.  So this was a compromise of sorts...</div><div>
    </div><div>I can't move the date.  :(</div><div>
</div><div>ETA:  I can move the date to the left or right some, or make it smaller, but that's it.</div>

My offer still stands. I can recreate that for you and give you a file that any of those online printers can use.

However, if you like it how it is, then go for it. I'm just picky.  =)

What about just blurring the background instead of removing it? It just feels really choppy and I'm not a fan. I was trying to find the one I just did for my cousin, but I can't remember where I put it.

I like this better than the last one! The date bothers me a bit less than in your earlier draft.

<div>It's definitely choppy, but that was kind of why I thought it worked.  Hmmm.</div><div>

It does look a little bit mismatched. I love the picture itself but I think the positioning of everything else is off.

I know you were concerned about your highlights and I think the stark black background is bringing more attention to it. Instead of deleting the background, try blurring it, or even turning it black and white maybe? To give you the same effect without the stark contrast?

I guess I'm the odd one out, but I think it's lovely. I actually like it the best this way.

<div>I just can't find the right color balance, I think.  I feel like too much color makes it look... er... childish, I guess.  But when there's not enough (all black and white) it looks wintery?</div>
