LONG Wedding update for anyone who is bored w/ PICS

I just felt like AWing a little and updating y'all on the wedding planning. We have changed everything around so much, but it is set in stone now and feels like a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders.

We are still getting married at our beach house


And decided to have the ceremony on the beach and the reception in the back yard/pool area. We are having a caterer and bartender come in and everything will be set up there.

I also hired a wedding planner/DOC because there is no way I can do this without someone to help set up and give me ideas.

I also changed the theme to vintage/rustic. We are still having aqua as our color, but with pale yellow instead of orange (it fits the new theme better).

FI and I are meeting with our mothers and sisters tonight to fill them in and get our guest list finalized for our save the dates (which I will AW when they are done..but they are sweet!)

FI and I looked at wedding bands because we actually have time off during the day together for the next week. I can't find ANYTHING to fit my e-ring except for a chevron band which I don't want. I really want a unique white gold band without stones but everything I find has stones. Blah.

    Still haven't picked the RD place, but I think we are going to do it at the Aspen Grill which I got as a rec on TK.

    This matches the filigree of my e-ring, but I'd want it in WG and half the size



    And I also love the twisted white gold bands!

    Everything looks beautiful!! I asked about plain wedding bands (I don't like the stones either) when BF and I were looking at e-rings and many places can make a customized band to fit your ring, but I'm not sure how much that would cost.

    Soooo pretty! I love the beach house location, and I agree the colors will be perfect for that. Keep us posted as more details get nailed down...i think you're going to have a beautiful event!

    Haha it's not OUR beach house as in we own it..I wish! I just meant the original one we rented for the week..oops!!

    I would love to have one too!

    Liv- That is exactly what I'm looking for. I would love to try it on with my e-ring before I order it, I wonder if any in store jewelers around here carry something like that.

    I actually bought it in Germany.  My BFF over there and I got matching ones.  I was hoping the jeweler had a website, but it doesn't look like it.  It was all handmade.

    Jaycee - all of those pics are amazing! It looks like you're going to have a wonderful day. I also really like the filigree band idea, the ones Liv posted are beautiful :)
