Anyone else have a not-so-great day?

- I came home to find boyfriends wet bathrobe, wadded up on my side of the bed. It had been sitting there all day. Whenever he does this, my side of the mattress is usually still damp when I go to bed.

- I am about to start working on one of five writing assignments that are due in the next week. (I thought it would be "fun" to take three courses in addition to working full time.)

- One of my students blew a snot-rocket at me today.... and some of it got into my mouth.

Ugh.... anyone else? Let's commiserate.

1) Not cool. Have you talked to him about it? That would really piss me off if it happened more than once.

2) You can do it! What are you taking?

3) I hope you gave that little brat detention!

It's only lunchtime here. I don't get to have lunch on Tuesdays though because of a 12:30 to 2pm meeting.

1) Sleep on his side of the bed, make him sleep in the wet.

2) Just one step at a time - don't think of the sum total work to be done, just break it down into reasonable chunks and tackle one part at a time!

3) Beat the brat with a ruler.  Wait, that's not allowed anymore?  What about a "dunce" cap in the corner?  Not that either?  Damn, guess you'll just have to give the little turd a swirley.

Edit:  Commisserating - I told my boss that I sent out a bunch of invitations, which I haven't done yet.  Blah... I hate working with Mexicans, I just finished up our last event about 3 weeks ago (it was a prime example of Murphy's Law, and nearly gave me an ulcer, though everything worked out in the end) and I have absolutely zero motivation to start again on a new one that is still 4 months away.

I have decided to try to make a married bio. I was told weebly was easy. I disagree. Uploading pictures is a royal PITA! I woke up this morning with a runny nose that has now finally decided to stop. Grr. Other than that I am ok. I have not found any jobs to apply for. However I am meeting a friend for happy hour today!

I've spoken to him about the bathrobe thing. I get the typical "Yes, Honey" from him... but to be fair, I have the tendency to tell him about the things that are bothering me all at once. I will talk to him about the bathrobe again tonight, in a non-naggy way. ;-)

A bunch of courses in international relations. I'm rushing to finish a certificate by the spring... it will look really good for the programs I want to apply for (international education type things)

I teach music to kids with special needs. When he was blowing his snot at me, I don't think this kid registered it as something that was bad or gross. He seemed to think he was being "silly" at the time. Unfortunately, nasty things like this happen all of the time :-(  Just last week, another kid spit in my eyes. (That was purposeful, I sent him our of the room and wrote him up.)

I totally feel ya about papers... I have like 5 one page write ups to do... blah writing papers!

I had food poisoning over the weekend and my stomach is still sensitive so I can't have coffee yet and I now have a headache from lack of caffeine

I have a six page paper due tomorrow but I just can't focus! I was so stressed out yesterday about a test I had today. I broke down in tears at one point. So now that the test is over I just want to relax...oh how I hate this semester!

I have no idea how you are taking three classes and working full time.  I took two classes per semester in grad school and barely made it through.  I look back now and still have no idea how I made it through.  Good for you!
