I also omitted "get drunk for the first time" because I have a mild allergy to alcohol.  Basically, if I have more than one drink, I vomit within like 10 minutes.  Not a good time.  Buying a car is  around "get married" somewhere, but I don't know how necessary it will be because FI and I both prefer public transit, and so far we haven't had any issues.

 

ETA: Some of the future stuff is not soon at all, like we don't plan on kids for 7+ years.

My order isn't ideal by anyone's standard, but I believe whole heartedly that you end up exactly where you are supposed to be and that everything along the way happened for a reason.  That said, I added a few things that probably (hopefully?) don't apply to the rest of you...they are in italics.

Even if there are things you <em>would </em>change, what good does it do to regret them?  For a while after ExBF and I broke up, I (very immaturely) thought that if I could go back, I would just walk away from him instead of dating him, but I've come to realize that I learned so much from that relationship about what I <em>don't</em> want/what doesn't work.  Now that I'm with someone who's actually willing to work with me and communicate, and help me with those things, I'm very glad I dated him because I don't think I would have learned these lessons as quickly.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. There are certain things that people might think I would want to change/take back if I could, but I really wouldn't. I totally agree that you can learn a lot from most "mistakes" or hard times in life.
