V-day KUI?

Anyone around? Today was super irritating - I've just been in a crummy mood. BF has the closing night of his show and I won't be able to see him until Thursday. We're gonna have surf and turf this weekend though so that shoud be fun.

I'm here. BF and I already celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday since we don't see each other during the week.

Haha beth, you and I are always here around the same time.
I know BF has been crazy busy but I'm still a little bummed we didn't do anything today for Valentine's Day. No flowers or anything. What did you two do last Saturday?

We just went out to dinner. It wasn't really exciting at all. We aren't really into Valentine's Day. I have no idea what we did last year and the year before that we hung out at BF's apartment with his brother.

ETA: Sometimes I wish BF was more romantic but I guess it just makes it even more special when he does plan something romantic.

I'm kinda around. I should go get a shower and straighten my hair, and do homework, but I'm really not feeling it tonight.

BF and I don't celebrate Vday as our anniversary is in 2 days lol. Which reminds me, I need to fix my ticker....I realized it isn't right this afternoon

My stomach is kinda in knots because i took the leap on something... and I really want it to pan out. *fingers crossed*

I forget what BF and I even did last year and it was our first VDay together. I know he got me chocolate and roses. Both of us are totally broke this year too, which doesn't help. Valentines Day isn't a big deal for me, and BF is usually pretty romantic/thoughtful.

He did rent a car to drive me home today from Boston so I didn't have to take the T busses, which was really nice We joked that he got me a car for Vday lol.

Good luck with whatever you're hoping for Irish! When will you find out if it panned out?

Boo TK ate my post! I asked Irish about her news (when she would hear about it) and said something else I forget now. WTF?

Also, I'm on my 2nd glass of fake, slightly crappy Baileys...I'm glad someone else is drinking.

I'm here. My v-day was alright. I put way more effort into it than BF did  I thought since it was our first one living together it'd be a little more special but we just ordered heart shaped pizzas and drank a couple beers. Now I'm on here while he plays video games. =\ I let him play video games though (he kept complaining he hadn't played so it's more like I caved... I wanted to watch a movie on the couch).

He did get me chocolate covered strawberries though, and they're awesome. I gave him the disk of my Boudoir photos, a card, his favorite beer, and some Red Bulls, and paid for dinner.

I'm not really sure when/if I'll know if it panned out.

Rdr, I applied for a job in Nashville. I realized during my road trip that I'm really unhappy with a lot of things in my life, mostly things associated with work - so I went out on a reaaaaaaaally big limb and applied for something.

It's an hour away from my grandparents, my sister visits my grand units all the time, and it's 4 hrs from his aunt and cousin in IN. Kelly: I have actually never seen an episode of Buffy. Semi-unrelated: I tried to watch Sarah Michelle Gellar's new show on the CW this year & I hated it.  Maybe I don't like her??

I'm completely obsessed with the Buffy/Angel romance. I cried at the end of season 2. Also, the guy who played Angel went to my college! :)

Beth: I am a few chapters into 'Into Thin Air' based on your rec (or actually non-rec I guess haha).  I just passed the part where they were staying in the house (room?) with poop everywhere.  That's basically what I got from that part, I am either a child or a man, I'm not really sure.  I feel like there are things I don't understand which could be because I'm not used to reading such heavy books (if that makes sense at all).

I heard her new show is pretty bad. Apparently so is the new show by the same writer as Buffy, lol.
