Facial Cleanser/Moisturizer

I have extremely sensitive skin and I desperately need to find a new facial cleanser and moisturizer - ever since I moved down here to La my face is soo dry and itchy.  What do you girls use?

I use Neutrogena or Noxema---this keeps your face moisturized and tingly. (I love that feeling).

If your skin is dry and itchy I would try a lotion-based cleanser. The one I use is from Avon, check it out:

I always use Clean & Clear. I've used quite a few face cleansers and Clean & Clear is the one that works the best for me. I get dry skin, too and I've found that the Clean & Clear line never dries me out or leaves me itchy.

I know I can't use Neutrogena or Noxema -Those are two I've tried in the past and my face severely broke out.

    Thanks for the help girls!

I have really sensitive skin too and every morning I use Biore's in shower facial wash.  Before bed I use Clean and Clear wash and overnight lotion, I think it's specifically for sensitive skin but I might be mistaken.  All I know at the moment is it's in a gray bottle with a purple cap.  My skin is clear and never flakey these days!

Hmm...overnight lotion may be something I need.

I also think this all has alot to do with the make-up I've been using - I need to switch that too.

I use Aveeno, facial cleaner and moisturizer.  I like the way it makes me skin feel clean and soft.

I know a guy who doesn't use any soap/cleanser at all to wash his face, and he has the best skin ever! He swears by just using water . . . but it is probably just good genetics.

Oh I used to never have to do ANYTHING to my face.  I could sleep in nasty covergirl caked on makeup and never have any problems.  I guess this just comes with getting old.  Ugh.

I use all Clinique products ( I'm kinda a snob... but if it works it works)

Daily Morturizing GEL (not lotion) Works wonders. If you go to the counter and as for a facial they will match the right products to your skin type.

I really like Spectro products. I use the cleanser for sensitive skin and the moisturizer for combination skin. I really like these products, the price is right, and they don't irritate my skin.

Jeter, I recommend Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (make sure it's "Gentle" and not "Normal to Oily"). My face is sensitive from various acne medicines, and that's what my doctor recommended. I've been using it for three or four years now.

There's also a Cetaphil lotion, but I find it a little heavy and would only use it at night, not during the day.

I currently use Clinique. Before that I used Murad.

I've got horribly sensitive skin, too (even perfumes bother me - some people don't seem to realize that the perfumes in things can cause a lot of problems, too, not just the dyes).  I've used the Aveeno bar before - right now I've got an Avon cleanser that has since been discontinued.  Too funny that I literally was just in the shower just a bit ago thinking about needing to start scoping out new facial cleansers since this bottle is half empty.  Sometimes I do the just water thing, too, and honestly, that's usually when my face feels the best.

I have sensitive skin that can be dry, red, and irritated. I also get breakouts. I have blackheads and can develop painful cystic zits! I have heard a lot about the oil cleansing method being good for troubled skin, and I have wanted to try it but I haven't yet (it might be something you want to look into). For now this is what I have been doing and I like it:

I use a gentle face scrub once a week in the shower (I think it's St Ives). For a cleanser I use either Cetaphil or Spectro for sensitive skin (whichever one is on sale, they both work great). My daily moisturizer is Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture SPF 15-- I love this stuff and have been using it for years! It is super light. Every once in a while if my skin is very dry I use a night cream. Right now I have Alba Jasmine and Vitamin E moisture cream. I also used to use the Alba Pineapple cleanser and it worked great! I love the Alba products and I use their shampoo and conditioner-- they are gentle, sls-free, smell amazing and work great. :)

I 3rd Clinique. They don't use any fragrances and whatnot so it should help with sensitive skin. I use the clarifying lotion and I love it.

I have combination skin and I have never found anything that works as good as my Clinique 3 step!

They have different ones for different types of skin.  I LOVE this product.
