AYNKRG

Air your non-knot-related grievances.

What's getting on your nerves today?

Me: It really bugs me how spray bottles stop functioning, even when there's plenty of liquid left, because the stupid straw thing is too short. Like, I'm trying to clean my bathroom, which is something I don't do nearly enough in the first place. I don't need any more excuses to give up on it.

Now you.

I really hate that my clothes are covered in cat fur 24/7. It's gross and I feel like people are judging me. I clean my house, but it wouldn't appear that way when looking at me. I can pull a freshly washed shirt out of the closet and it will be covered in fur. My cats don't even go in the bedroom. Lint rollers work, but for all of like 20 minutes if I'm still at home.

You're not the only one with this issue. I have a sticky buddy and I just do a quick run over my clothes before I leave the house. That's the only way I've found to look presentable.

My kindle has been doing this super annoying thing where it will just randomly exit me out of the book I'm reading. It is super frustrating to be suddenly ripped out of being totally engulfed in a HP book. It also has stopped moving the book I'm reading to the top of my book list on the home page. I had to have it sort my books into alphabetical order just to be able to find my HP books.

I'm also frustrated that BF and I have had 3 fights in the last week. I think we finally worked through it completely on Monday but I hate fighting with him so I've been in a pretty bad mood for the past week.

And one more - I hate dieting and working-out.

Oh, I have another one. I went to get a "trim" yesterday, and the stylist took a good inch off my hair. I'm right back to the length it was after my last trim -- like the last several months didn't happen. Grrrrr.

I'm super annoyed that my school used to automatically take out fees from my grad student stipend before it was deposited to my bank account but this year they changed the policy. Now we have to pay the $400 in fees up front, and then they are paying us an extra $60/month or whatever to compensate. WTF. Oh, and to top it all off, they did not inform us of this change until yesterday, and the $400 is due today. What the fuuucking fuuuuck.

I'm irritated that the apartment people still haven't fixed my ceiling. I've had a hole in the bathroom ceiling since July 24th because they 'fixed' upstairs leaky tap and they broke a pipe without realizing. And they are taking their own sweet time fixing one little bit at a time, and every time they do anything they get plaster dust all over the bathroom. Ugh.

[QUOTE]I'm annoyed that my cramps are bad enough that I took painkillers, which I rarely do for fear of rebound headaches, and I got a rebound headache and NO cramp relief. I'm irritated that I can't motivate myself to clean the condo. Like, putting away clean clothes, or, uh, finishing unpacking my bag from Shoes's wedding. Yeah, that's pretty bad. I know Mo is getting irritated with me and I'm having a hard time not being like, "IDGAF." I'm on my last session of free personal training and I feel like I'm not going to get much out of it tonight because I feel crampy and gross. But this is a session rescheduled from last week (trainer rescheduled it) so I didn't feel like I could reschedule again even if the first time wasn't my fault.

Liv, I'm in exactly the same mood re cleaning and unpacking (also haven't unpacked clothes from my weekend or laundry on Monday). Can you put them in a cupboard or under the bed so he can't see it? Then you can tackle it later when you're feeling up to it. I hope the exercise helps boost you up a bit, sometimes it does for me.

My hair is also annoying me. I like the cut, but it just frizzes/waves out & looks like a pile of poop on top of my head.

I also need a new straightener. I liked the one i got at first, but now I feel like it's just killing my hair.

I bought a Remington about a year ago and I love it. It takes me about 30 min to straighten my hair, which is about 30 min less than with other straighteners I've had. There are a bunch of heat settings and it heats up in a matter of seconds (beeps to let you know when it's ready). I use the highest heat setting usually, because my hair is thick, coarse, and really curly. Here's a link if you wanna check it out: http://www.target.com/p/remington-t-studio-pearl-ceramic-2-straightener/-/A-12837230 Also, because I use the highest heat setting, I use a protectant spray before straightening.
