Hey ladies - saw this article on AOL this morning and thought I'd share. It's geared towards married couples, but has important advice for anyone in a long term relationship.

This is the same lady who wrote "Get Married This Year: 365 Days to I Do" I'm not sure I can take anything she puts out seriously.

ooo, yeah. That book is not right. I think the article brings up a lot of good points that we might forget sometimes, though.

I liked the first point about being positive. I read an article once that talked about how couples told therapists the story of their first date and how positive or negative they were gave a peek into their relationship.

I would hope most of these things were pretty common-sensical (in the larger sense) to people getting married - making time for each other, staying positive, communicating well, the importance of physical affection.

I can name a few things that are better, but what ever.
