Pretty Little Liars

Does anybody else watch Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family?

I can't really explain it, but I'm obsessed.

I've never seen it, but I think one of the girls on the commercials is really pretty.
    I'm not good at feelings.

Used to see the promos while watching reruns of Gilmore Girls and kind of wanted to watch the show. Any episodes online/Netflix, do you know?

I haven't seen this week's new episode yet, but I did read all the books. I think the show's finally starting to get better, but it doesn't seem as creepy as it did at the beginning.

Marley - there are a few episodes (the latest 3, I think) available on the show's website.

Bren - I just found out recently that it was book series.  I'm thinking about checking it out.  I love teen books (Twilight excluded).

    Yeah, I'm always reading teen/YA.

Honestly, I felt like the book series just dragged on and on for way too long, but at the same time I was dying (nice pun right?) to know the truth behind the mystery so I kept reading. I do think they're better than the TV show, and they changed a lot of small details in the TV show that really bug me because they were important to the book series plot.

Books are almost always better than whatever movie or TV show they inspire (again, Twilight is an exception).

It makes me glad I didn't know about the books before I started watching the TV show.  Having read the books would probably ruin it.  I now have to resist the temptation to read them in order to find out how it ends before the show gets there.

    Ah, ok, thanks. I was hoping for a little 'Flix action. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />

I watch it too. I missed this week's though.

And Bren, I agree... not as creepy as it was which is kind of a let down.

The first couple episodes had some really great, creepy parts. Now it just reminds me of a wannabe Gossip Girl, and I'm getting bored of that too.

Do read the books though. I'm curious to see if they're going to keep the same plot line or change it up. If they change it and do it well, I won't mind.
