Found a way to thank BF for the bike

I checked out Groupon. I've never done it before. Any reviews on it?

Well, I got an African Safari ticket for 5$ each. It's not nearly as expensive as a bike, but I think it'll still be a cool experience. It's a little chilly out, but they're open until December so why not! I figure I can pack a picnic and surprise him with it some day soon.

But again, I've never used Groupon before, so I'm just kind of curious what you guys think of it.

Groupon is like livingsocial, buywithme and zozi.  Through those sites I buy vouchers for kayaking and food and all sorts of entertainment and services.  Even pole dancing fitness classes.  Hahaha... I like them its a cheap way to experience things.  Like a 2 hour photography lesson for $54 that usually is $125.  Picnic sounds fun!

I loved Groupon and LivingSocial when I was in Houston.  Unfortunately, they haven't made it to my little backwoods Mississippi town yet.

I love groupon! Every business that I've used one for gave me no problems. I've been happy with every experience we've had, so I would rate them highly!!!

How sweet of you to return the kindness....love the picnic idea too!

Ok that makes me feel better. I'm always nervous when buying stuff online from somewhere for the first time. It seems to be pretty safe though. I've never heard of the other sites so I'll have to check them out too! :)

Love Groupon & Living Social...they make for interesting, cheap date nights.
Especially fun when Groupon ran that half-price Old Navy gift card!

I <3 Groupon and LivingSocial... I bought so many Groupons last year that they invited me to their Christmas party :) (No lie.. I think they invited several customers. It was fun!).

I just got a job with LivingSocial Adventures, so I'll be doing all the fun excursions as an Event Coordinator.

Anyway, I think a groupon was a great idea (maybe pair it with that BJ?)... hee hee

    cute idea!

FI and I use groupon and livingsocial deals all the time. Mostly for restaurants cause we go out to eat at least once a week. We also have a wine tasting deal and fandango... Laughing good times ahead!

[QUOTE]elannis, I<strong> read your subject line and my first thought was ".....a bj?"</strong> No seriously, groupon and living social are awesome. I've only ever used it once (it's not a great deal if it's not something I'd buy anyway IMO) but I know a lot of people who love it. BF and I always look at the livingsocial escapes too, maybe someday.

Haha, actually that was this morning before I made him a big breakfast, lol. I've looked at those escapes and they do look pretty awesome, but that'll be another day when I have money for something like that. For now, I'm focused on getting school loans paid off.
